We love trading on the pif threads...there are a variety of threads to trade on...the basic idea is you snag (choose) an item you like off someones list, then you post a list starting with 3 items (within the threads value..each thread has a different value....like one is 5-10, one is 10, and one is 15 and up) and you add 2 items (only 1 item on the 15 up)that you want to part with a day...until someone chooses one of your items..
here are the threads: I have included the link to the first page of each of the threads...so you can read the rules...it may seem like there are a lot of rules but don't be afraid...everyone helps if there is something not done right...you can always become one of our family...after you read the rules, you can click at the bottom where it shows the page numbers to the last page and see what is in red on the "current" list...and see if you want to "snag" or choose!
it may also ask you to join before posting on the PIF threads...if so just join because we would love to have new players/family to our PIF threads..it was just put that way so that we would have to approve etc...
I would love to see some new players on the PIF threads!

For items other than SU stamp sets, what criteria would I use for the price? Is it the average retail price? I've read the rules several times and think I understand them, so would be interested in participating.

About the pricing...if the item ( Including SU items ) is new it's the retail or MSRP value...if the item is used and or stained etc...we usually adjust the value down for that...
A lot of time I will just list items for the thread value in order to get a 'snag' faster...

I would love to join the group, but I can't post in the $10 forum. Also, I tried to send a private message to HookedonCrafts to snag an item, but the message isn't showing in my sent items.
Do I need to do anything special to officially join the group and pm people?

Elizabeth, you should definitely be able to PM HookedonCrafts without any special permissions. I think to post you have to ask to join the swap group or something. It's been so long I don't remember. I'm sure someone will chime in and tell you exactly how to join. Can't wait to see ya on there.
