Default Need ideas for Halloween Party Favors for 3 year olds

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas that might help me. I need to make Halloween party favors for my son's preschool class. There are 9 kids in his class. I wanted to make some sort of box and fill it with some treats. Well I was thinking a small (treat size) bag of M&M's and some other sort of non-candy treat...stickers, crayons or something. Anyway, I'm looking for instructions (or a pattern) for a larger treat box.

I really like this box, but I don't have the envelope die cut or a Big Shot to make it:

Then I got to thinking that the children are only 3 years old and maybe I should make some sort of box that closes or has a lid on it so that the items won't fall out.

I tried to make a box like this one, but I think it's a bit too small:

Anyone have any ideas? Maybe I can buy some sort of container and decorate it, but I'm not sure what and I don't want to spend a fortune.

Thanks in advance for any help or ideas!

Default Pumpkin poop

My girlfriend made the cutest little bags of candy corn. The topper on it was called "pumpkin poop" do a search and see if they pop up. They would be perfect as little favors.

I ended up buying Play-doh from Target. They had a pack of 25 of the small cans for $4.99.
I wrapped the bottom with Halloween paper and am using the Scallop circle punch and Batty for You set on the top. Hardly took any time at all to put together and what kids don't like Play-doh?!

I second the sour cream containers!! Very cute and so fast and easy to make. I did a tutorial on my blog for my stamp group---you are welcome to use it to help make them!

Good Luck!

For my daughter's preschool class, I am going to put a little box of (4) crayons (from OTC) in a bag with some Halloween stamped images in a clear bag with a bag topper. I'm blanking on the cost of the crayons, but they were quite cheap.

How about these. Super Easy and cheap to make. I am making them for my twin 3 yo's and my 4 yo'd preschool classes. I am putting a caramel apple in them, but you could put anything in them.

I have some details on my blog as to how to make them. I believe the Martha Stewart site has directions as well.

Something like this is cute:

I did them for a swap and used halloween candy inside with rub ons on the outside and designer paper on the insde.
