Default Need help with stamp set names, Please!

My daughters friend gave these stamp sets to her to sell. We are trying to find out what sets they are. They are mounted on foam and have never been used. The first one is from 1995. I don't know if it is one set or a combination of sets.
The second one is from 1992. Any help is greatly appreciated! I know someone out here in scs land will know!
Thanks a bunch!

The first one is Button Bear. No clue about the second.

I found them in the 1998-1999 catalog: Button Bear on the left -- page 92--for $17.50--set of 17 and Krayola Kids on the right -- page 192 for $9.95--set of 8...

I checked your picture of the Button Bear set against the catalog and the set is missing a woven basket of daffadils with a ribbon tied on the basket handle...

HTH -- just in case you have a basket of flowers foam stamp and don't know where it belongs.

Thank you so much!! You ladies are awesome!
I don't have the basket of daffodils but maybe my daughters friend does. I'll ask her. Thanks again!

My daughter just informed me that I violated copyright laws by taking a picture of the stamp sets. I would take them off now, but I can't edit the post, so if a mod want's to remove them that's A OK!

I think you might be okay as both sets are retired...and if you hadn't posted the picture, we wouldn't have been able to tell you what sets they were. However, if I'm incorrect on the picture taking--oops and sorry!

That's a new one to me- really? You can't take a picture of the set?

I got a giggle out of your post. These are the first two stamp sets I ever bought in 1997, since you already know what the sets are, I won't repeat it.

I bet you did get a giggle! I couldn't believe my 30 year old daughters, 30 year old friend hand stamp sets that were foam and copyrighted in 1992 and 1995. She would have been barely 20 when she got them!

I actually wondered about this enough that I contacted Stampin Up. I got a reply from Demo Support (funny since I'm not a demo)

It said

Thank you for your e-mail regarding some of the questions that you have. We appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to assist you. You may take a picture of a set and post it on an online journal, blog, or forum. You may not scan images from our Idea Book & Catalogs. If you choose to sell the stamp sets online you can take a picture. Again, it cannot be scanned from our catalog. You may scan your cards to share with others. You may not sell your artwork online as this violates our Angel Policy.

Again, thank you for taking the time to contact our office. We hope you find this information to be helpful.

Sincerely,

Stampin' Up!

Thanks so much for clearing that up! Now I don't have to worry about the copyright police anymore!

I saw this and realized I have Button Bear from before I stamped (bought it from a party hosted by a friend in 1995 or even earlier!) - now where did I stash that.......
