Question Need help locating this sentiment

There is a sentiment that I want to use inside a sympathy card, but can't seem to locate it. It starts with something like "some peope come into our lives and quickly fade away.....etc. I need the exact wording if anyone has it. Your help wil be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Is it this quote by Flavia Weedn?

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.

I would have found it sooner on Google if I had remembered the "l" in people. ;)

Not quite, but I also like this one. I might not even be quoting it correctly, but the first and last part of your quote is what I am looking for. Thanks for your quick response!!

Looks like both are by Flavia. I only found the long version by going to her website. Seems like the short version is what most quote places have.

It's beautiful quote either way!
