It reminds me of the pansy stamps, but it has too many petals for that, plus i don't think the pansy stamps are that old.

We posted at the exact same time.... I must have beat her post by seconds.

Sorry about the one line answers. I badly cut my hand last night and was trying to keep my mind busy with something... thus looking up stamps and sets for this thread. Cut my dominate hand, so was having trouble typing with my left hand, thus the short replies. Since Kathy is good at looking through catalogs and didn't find the SU one there, she suggested it might be in a mini catalog. I have but a handful of mini's and wa-la, it was in one of them. Shirl, guess it was saved just for you. ~Mary

Oh, Mary, you are delightful! Thank you for letting me know it is from polka dot posies. So sorry to hear about your hand though. Hope it feels fast. I am always afraid of hurting my hands too. Too hard to make a card when that happens!

You are so sweet! I wish I had an exciting adventure to tell you, but was washing dishes and a glass broke and took a rather large and deep gouge out of my hand below my thumb. (Try doing much of anything without using your thumb!) I'm blessed that my neighbor is a nurse and she came right over as the bleeding wouldn't stop. She offered to drive me to the ER to get stitches, but I opted to have her tape it up. She has already called today and will stop after work and re-bandage it and in so doing, check out how it looks. Last night the main issue was to stop the bleeding and then keep it elevated all night. AND, I just received 6 new to me stamp sets from a seller on SCS.... I want to go play. At least stamps don't expire.

Can anyone tell me where these stamps belong? Some are old and some may not be SU, but if anyone can help, I'd be very appreciative.

I am posting these stamps again, after spending hours myself looking through galleries in hopes that I might spy one or more of these. Even though I did not accomplish my goal, I sure did see some inspiring cards, so all was not lost. The bottom left butterfly has no date, so must be rather recent SU stamp, as they used to put the year of introduction on them. The one on the bottom right is a rare one, for me, clear stamp. I prefer them mounted so the clear ones I seldom acquire get mounted on a wood block. The other two may have been given to me years and years ago. Anyway was hoping a bit more information might help with the identification of at least the bottom two. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

The bottom one is from Kind Thoughts (set of six) 2008 fall winter catalog.

The top two just don't "feel" like stampin up to me. The bottom right looks like SU's style but since it doesn't say it on the label, just not sure.

Woohoo! Thanks muscrat! One down, three to go. The reason the bottom right one doesn't have an SU label (though I'm pretty sure it is), is because it is a clear stamp that I mounted on wood and used the cling label as the index. Those don't have labels as they are cut closely around the image. Thanks again for your help. I'll sleep better tonight!

Hi. What is the name of this SU set? Is the sentiment and the Santa both part of the same set? I know it is retired, several years ago. I think it came from a holiday catalog, not the big catalog that year. Maybe close to ten years ago now. I hope it's ok to post a photo of the card. Thank you for any help.

I thought it might be Jolly Holiday, but on that one the hat is more squiggly. Other than that it is very similar. I sort of remember these two stamps being very much alike and released pretty close in time. I searched the gallery but couldn't find the one pictured, but it must be there somewhere! Hope you find it!

Found it!! I was on a mission, hahaha! It is a set called Naughty or Nice from the 2007 Holiday Mini and sold for $27.95. The "JOY" stamp is part of the set. The Jolly Holiday santa which is very similar was released the following year. Hope that helps!

When you say clear - you mean the rubber ones that don't come pre-mounted on wood? SU choosing to call those clear mount was so confusing as to most people clear means photopolymer and not rubber. If it's a cling-mount rubber one, that narrows the date range down.

Thanks for asking. I should have made myself more "clear." This is actually a photopolymer stamp. I have very few of them because I don't like how they stamp, but this must have come in a set that I couldn't get any other way.

That is helpful - because a lot of people call the clear mount (cling rubber) ones clear! And it should also narrow the timeframe down even more. But my searches have been fruitless so far, sorry! Even on eBay, which is often where I ID unknown stamps.

If it helps at all, the stamp is quite small---probably 5/8" x 5/8"

Thanks, everyone for all your research. I have discovered what set the small photopolymer butterfly comes from. It belongs with Meadow by Inkadinkado. I will immediately mark it as such! Thanks again.
