I have 3 graduation cards to make. I need some ideas. I don't have any stamps, other than a congratulation stamp. Does anyone know of any svg or digital stamp file?
I have many to make also...as my oldest son is graduating this year!! (YEEK) I would like to hear some responses to this post as well. I know there is a graduation cap template in the templates thread that I am planning on trying. Good luck with those cards!!

I created a graduation shutter card for my nephew last year. I don't have a picture here in my gallery, but here's the direct link to the picture and instructions on my blog.
I used a B&W picture of a cougar from the internet and computer-generated the sentiments on most of the panels. There are a few stamps that were used from various sets that I did have, but perhaps this will jump-start some ideas for you.
Hope this helps!

I actually bought a few misc. stamps at a store, and I have them stored together, marked graduation. When I made my cards, I tried to use the school colors for my cardstock, to stay with the theme of the school. Try looking in Michael's dollar bins for the stamps. I am almost positive I found most of mine there. they are fun cards to make!! Good luck!!

It's not a svg or digi stamp, but another idea you might be able to use without buying more stamps:
I use the nieces' and nephews' graduation announcements to make their cards. Of course, then I have to beg another graduation announcement from their Moms after I cut up the one that I originally get, but no one has minded yet! For the cardstock, you can either coordinate with the school colors or use a contrasting color to really make it pop. Then you can use your congrats stamp on the inside!
(For full disclosure, the basic idea of using pieces of the announcement was not mine originally, but I don't remember who's work it was that I saw!)

Use cardstock in the primary school color, cut 10" x 5" and fold in half so you have a square 5"x5" card. Use a die cut tool & hammer to punch a small hole in the very center of the card front only (open the card up to do this). Make a tassel in the secondary school color. Buy the thicker embroidery floss at the craft store, cut a 10" length, wrap floss several times around 2 fingers (hold them apart slightly, not together) and cut the end when you have gone around about 10 times. Slide it off your fingers and use the original 10" length to tie & knot the top edge of your "rope." Use your scissors to cut the bottom edge so you have something resembling a broom. Cut another piece of embroidery floss (about 4") and use this to wrap and knot around the upper edge of your tassel to keep all the strings going in one direction. Play with it and your method until you have something resembling a decent tassle. stick the ends of the "broom handle" through the hole in your card face and use put a brad through the hole for the button. You should have an easy card face that resembles a graduation cap. You can rubber stamp the grad year in the corner of the cap on the card face if you are so inclined. This is a very cute card that can be dressed up by puchasing the more expensive textured cardstock. Make sure to buy the square 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" envelope to put your card in.
My favorite digital scrapbooking designer, Libby Weifenbach, just released this kit today for Graduation ideas and it's on sale today. It has lots of pre-colored elements you could use:
I didn't have very much in the way of graduation stamps last year when my mother in law asked me for two grad cards. And so this is what I came up with (maybe this will help you):

I did some last year with punch art owls but can't find a pic of mine but here are a few that I used as inspiration. I love punch art! I used the owl and just a regular congrats stamp.
I've always loved this idea with a tassel ... make the card look like a grad cap with a tassel and a brad: Impress Rubber Stamps idea here
Also, this grad box looks cool.
Dustin Pike has digital graduates, and Mo's Digital Pencil just came out with a cute cat in cap and gown. Sassy Cheryl has a graduate, too.

I have a few to make this year too. I made one already by just making a square into a cap, adding a brad and making a tassle for it. I did add a small 'happy graduation' stamp to the card.
Wow! such great suggestions and great cards! Thanks a lot. I made a couple over the weekend but they didn't thrill me. I forgot to mention that one of the cards is for my niece who is graduating nursing school. I did find a digital stamp of a nurse so I may try to use that on a card.

I made this graduation shutter card for a special young man. I don't think I used any stamps, just some stickers and computer sentiments. I got some of the elements from the school's website.
