Default Need help desiging a stamping shelf...

Hi All,
I am going to have my dad build me a book shelf of sorts for my stamps and accessories. Right now my stamps are all being stored the wrong way. So I know I want shelving to store them the correct way. I also want a dowl or two for ribbon incorprated into the shelf. Does anyone else have any other ideas or suggestions before I tell my dad what I want. Is there a way I could store my wheels in this shelf?? Thanks for any help you can give!

Steph

I don't have any suggestions but I bet you could find some cool ideas in the gallery! Try searching by "stampin space" keywords.

Also, I've read several posts from people who bought organizers on ebay & were happy - maybe you could get some ideas there.

There are a bunch of sellers, but here's one:

I read this on another thread and some of them look neat. It really all depends on what kinds of things you mostly have and want to store. You can look at these too... http//:www.stampinthings.com She has wheel organizers and Stamp Pad organizers that are great.

I don't know how you could incorporate it into your shelves but I have mine on a trouser hanger that has 3 or 4 bars for pants. I found it at Target. I have mine hanging on my wall in my stamp room.

How big is your shelf going to be? Is it going to be like a bookshelf? I would maybe have him put in a dowel rod at the top of a shelf opening, just below the shelf above it. Does that make sense?

How are you storing your stamps? Are they a variety of stuff or mostly SU?

I bought one of the craftorganizers that laurelwright posted the link for. I got mine today and love it.

What kind of space do you have? I love organizing. Just need some details.
