Default Need directions for making a 1st place ribbon

I know I had seen on here lots of people making the first place type ribbon things using the SU scallop punch, but now that I need it I can't find it. Can anyone help me out?

I'd love to see an example of this and directions. Anyone have a (gallery) link to share?

You need to scallop one end and then pleat the paper (all depends on the final size you want) and then fan the end edge around and attach it to the other edge at the beginning of the row making a circle/disc shape. You then place a smaller circle shape over the center of the florette you have created.

I know I saw it done on Martha Stewarts' show as part of a creative packaging segment but I can't find a tutorial HTH

I don't have a photo but try this and see if it is what you were looking for.
Punch out a scalloped circle. Lightly adhere it to a thin piece of scrap paper (computer paper works well). place the scallop back in the punch and turn it a little so the new scallops will cut into the center of the old scallop. Then punch and pull it off your paper. The circle now has more of a pointy edge.
