Default Need card idea for mother-to-be with difficulties

A friend wants me to make a card for her to give to her daughter-in-law.

The daughter-in-law is bed-ridden for her last month of her pregnancy due to medical problems/complications.

I need something that says "Hang in there" without being cutsy- as this is quite a serious situation.

I can't do a new baby is coming card... for obvious reasons...

Is there someone out there who can suggest something?

TIA
:?

What about a very nice "Thinking of You" or "To Brighten your Day" type of card? Anything with florals, elegant patterns, etc., should be fine and not cause any additional stress/anxiety over the sensitive situation.

I have been in the daughter-in-law's situation...what the daughter in law needs is ANY card...."thinking of you" would be wonderful. The sentiments from the Hope Is set would be equally wonderful if you have that.

The worst part of pregnancy bedrest is just not knowing what will happen next....will I have this baby tomorrow? will it be ok? will I be ok? will I be able to actually lay here on my left side for the next 30 days? Not to mention the complete and utter boredom that sets in....

Probably more than you wanted to know! If you need more about the bedrest situation, please pm me.

But really, any Thinking of You card would be much appreciated. And if you really want to help her daughter-in-law, send her a new card every week!

I agree with the sentiments shared above. I was on bed rest with both children. It's a real drag!

You didn't mention a gift, but it would be great and probably much apreciated if she'd include some busy books for the mother-to-be - crossword puzzles & word finds, and a good mystery would be a nice, and some good smelling lotion, too.

Can't wait to see the finished creation, Michelle!

Hello! While I was sick during the nine months of my pregnancy (yes, that's right...the whole nine months), I missed countless stamp days and camps that my demo had. She sent me a whole pkg of the cards they had done at one of the camps! It was wonderful and I could almost transplant myself there!
Does this person stamp? Even if she doesn't, I'm sure she would enjoy a gift pkg of random occassion cards. And of course a special one for her!!!

Rebekah - that is such a thoughtful gift! No wonder you (sig) Love Your Demo!
Never had to do the bedrest, but a pretty Thining of You card would be well received, I'm sure. I love the busy books idea - a Games magazine, maybe.
