This is so awesome for CTMH to do something fun for this. SU isn't do anything to my knowledge - only for World Cardmaking Day and what they are doing for that is kind of lame.
"Your entry has been successfully received. You should receive your free stamp in 6-8 weeks. Thank you! "
I guess I won something... Yahoo!!!
Now I have to find out what..
Thanx for the information
Well from what I know, the first 15,000 to register get a free stamp. Very cool! There are also a bunch of prizes that will be given away throughout the month. I have been letting anyone and everyone know about it! hehee. Can you tell I'm excited?
The first 15,000 entrants receive a free stamp set. There will also be a daily drawing for the From Me to You card making kit. And, the Grand Prize is a basket filled with $1000 in Close To My Heart products! Daily winners and the Grand Prize winner will be announced in October.
You may enter by going to http://www.closetomyheart.com or your consultant's website.

The reason Stampin' Up! isn't doing anything to celebrate National Stamping Month is because it is a CTMH thing- they made it up- not a bad marketing plan, but I am sure they didn't call all the stamp companies and let them in on their marketing plan so they could celebrate with them.

Hey, you are right on that, but I'm sure the other companies will take advantage of this. And it is still great that stampers are getting recognized. :-D :-D

While CTMH did trademark National Stamping Month and National Stamping Day, there's nothing that says the other companies can't celebrate also. I have no idea who created the first National Scrapbooking Month and National Scrapbooking Day in May, but, many companies celebrate those also. Even QVC gets in on the action for the National Scrapbooking festivities.
Not to worry, Carol...I keep trying and haven't gotten the "congratulations" message yet! I just get returned to the blank sign up screen. So not fair, <sniff!>, lol!

Please don't take this the wrong way, but are you hitting Submit or Reset when you send in the completed form? Sometimes my computer will act up and will click on the button next to the one I am trying to click on. It sounds like you are somehow(not on purpose) clicking on Reset Form instead of Submit.

I kept thinking that myself, but I'm very careful about it. Especially after the third or fourth attempt! I'm sure somebody's gonna come in to the office on Tuesday and think I must be the dumbest rip-off wannabe in history, lol! It's really not like I need another stamp anyway...
Thank you to this thread, I never really knew that they had a website , and I won a stamp set too! yeah Thanks guys. By the way keep trying you'll get yours good luck!!!!

What is so lame about affering a 20% discount on a card making kit for World Card Making Day??
I see that CTMH is also a sponsor of World Card Making Day, what are they offering??
CTMH released 50 new sets yesterday. For some reason the "new" link isn't working on peoples sites yet, but they are listed under their categories, mostly fall, Christmas, Snow, etc.

Oh, they are offering a really cool card making set that is only being offered this month. Check out their site. It will include a stamp set, precut cardstock, ribbon, brads and the best part, a container to hold all this in. Very very cool!

i think it's great for a company to be doing this kind of promotion, i've heard of CTMH but haven't had the chance to order anything from them yet so this is a good way to see the quality of there products befor spending $.
