In today's mail I got a stamp set I ordered. It was not misrepresented but it was cheap but it has no name on the clear box.
Here is the description. It is Stampin Up 2005 yet not in the 2205-6 or the 2006-7 catty. I don't have all the 2005 minis.
4 pieces. #1 small balloon on string and the word thanks!
#2 Heart black with small daisies inside
#3 Looks like a primitive Christmas tree and a ribbon thing on top
#4 5 flowers, daisies (2) and others. On stems.
I would like to know the name. Spent an hour on ebay checking all the stamp sets that had pictures and no more than the 4 stamps but no luck.
Hmmm... sounds like it is either a partial set or a bunch of random stamps. Do they all say SU 2005 on the sticker?
I agree that it sounds like a mishmash. None of those images sound like they go together and a SU! Set would be coordinated. If you have a picture you could post we can probably tell you if they are at least SU! stamps.
I don't know how to post pictures. They are larger than the incentive stamps and all are Stampin Up 2005 They are all the same size. About 2inches by 1-1/2 inches. each. 4 of them.
Yes, they could be what was left over. I have noticed on eBay that a lot of people sell 1 stamp from a set, underneath is another from the same set and so on. In the end, some probably don't sell, in fact, with what some charge for the postage to mail 1 stamp, I am surprised any sell. I guess the left-overs go in a plastic box and get sold as a 'set' which has no name.
They did not specify a set name and it was dirt cheap.
Those are from an incentive stamp set called Merry Mix. There are 12 stamps total in the set because they are jumbo stamps- not small like the original sets of 28. Only demonstrators can order them.
Hope that helps!
