Yup, my 8 year old son was playing with our lazy susan -- those little ones you put on the table to spin items from person to person. He was taping paper to it and using a pencil crayon to make "monsters" that he added eyes, noses, and horns, and whatnot. He asked me to come and make a monster too but once I saw what he was doing, I just knew the technique would make the best scribble flowers!! So, here is what I came up with - I call it
Your son is just too cool! He sounds a lot like my almost 8 year old. Your card looks great--so fun and colorful with all the black to make the colors pop.
It is amazing what we learn from our kids! My 12 year use to stamp with me and he had some neat ideas also that I started using.
I really like the lazy susan idea. I am going to have get me one now to try that!!
