Default ? Mounting All Natural

So I finally got this stamp set I've been dying to have since I saw it as a hostess set in the last catty. I was mounting the set tonight while watching ER.

I can't get the flower to fit on the wooden mount! Did I get the right size block, or did they give me a wrong one? It's the largest block in the set, but I still can't get the flower to fit on there right. Any ideas? Would someone measure their block for me so I can see if I have the right one?

Confused

you're not doing anything wrong. now that you mention it, i remember having the same problem last year. every once in a while there is a set where the blocks don't seem to match up correctly. this is one of them. do the best you can - try to allign the longest petals in the corners - but that's the same block that we all got. you are not crazy!!!

Thanks for letting me know I'm not crazy! I was really worried there for a minute.

I did end up mounting it at an angle, after I pulled out my ruler and measured every possibility. The flower seems to be about 1 7/8" in diameter. The block is 2" wide, but with the curved edge you actually have a smaller length to work with.
