I was looking at the cow stamp from Birthday Banter last night. It looks like yuck because I have used it so much. The block has stains all over it and the stamp is permanently stained black and brown. My Wonderful Words stamps look icky too. What is your "most loved" stamp that you own?
My most loved stamp would be the little airplane from the Toy Box set. It was the first set I ever got, and I used it on my little boy's birth announcements...it's VERY stained, but I still use it all the time!

My most loved stamp is Itty Bitty Backgrounds: speckle. It is pitch black!!!!! Then I would also have to say Terrific tulips is also a close second. I have very many well used stamps that I try to keep clean, but I use them just to often. All of my flower stamps are used....

especially crazy alphabet! I use it at every workshop and I have sold a ton of them! They are all black and yucky! But I love it... it shows that it has been put to good use!
I try realllllllly hard to not get ink stains on my wood no matter how much I use the stamps. So far, I've been pretty lucky, with the exception of one House Mouse stamp. Apparently all of my inhibitions went out the window with that stamp!
I wish that were the case--I'm a demo and my stamps get pretty trashed sometimes at workshops. If it were just me using them they would not look so sad! Actually, only a small amount of mine are what I would call "trashed."

my inky-ist stamp is the flower outline from shapes and shadows --- when i first saw this set i was NOT impressed - and yet i end up using it all the time ---its is so versatile - sometimes i think i have sent a card to all my friends using this stamp at least 3 times!

Terrific Tulips. I just love this set. My new favorite is Fresh Fruit - my pear has taken quite a licking - and I haven't had the set that long...(sigh)
Oh Boy! I have only been acquiring SU stamps since last November...., BUT, I would have to say that I cannot choose my all-time favorite as I have over 30 sets already and ALL the stamp pad collections (prior to the new 2005 colors) and markers and pastels and pencils. (Yes, I need the 12-step program for craft junkies...)
I have taken a liking to the IFB and the T Tulips and the Art of Life, however. They seem to fill all the nitches. But still, I use the Wonderful Words I & II and the Sincere Salutations and GOSH - I love everything! I am like a kid in a candy shop -
I DO have one question - I haven't seen the new 2005 catalog - did Canvas make it in? I had heard it would.... (just through the grapevine, tho...)
Yes, I would make a recruiters dream come true if I decided to be a demo, alas, I am with another DS company and I cannot 'sell' anyone elses stuff at this point - but that's ok, I buy lots....
Why is everyone stressed over 'stained' wood blocks and stamps? I would think that would be a GOOD thing and it would show the world that those stamps are really worth the investment!!!! Just my .02 worth!
My most loved stamp is Itty Bitty Backgrounds: speckle.
I ditto that... It is my most used stamp.

Yep, the Canvas background made it into the new 2005/2006 catalogue. And yes, you would be a recruiters dream! I'm sure your demo is enjoying you as a customer though too!

Kanji! I was so glad that it made the cattie again. I just love this set and use it all the time. It is permanantly black with hints of gold. My brother and I both love Asian things (we lived in Japan for a while) and so I tend to use it a lot when I make things for him. I've made him a lot of candles and framed artwork using it that he has displayed in his home.

Wonderful wings definitely! the stickers are worn of the block and the rubber is stained (I use stazon black a lot with them) but I wouldn't exchange that set for anything, I use it almost daily.
My most used stamp of all time is the "Thinking of You" stamp from AYC. But by far my most favorite stamp is the flower from simple shapes (both the background and the outline.)
