After reading this forum about how everyone LOVED Mono Multi, I went out and bought some. I guess I didn't realize it's white glue!! Did I get the right stuff? Everyone likes this more than Mono Adhesive? Why? I find glue difficult to work with! Can someone steer me in the right direction? What's the best way to use Mono Multi, and what are some helpful hints?
I love my Mono Multi ... yup, white glue ... it sticks like the dickens though. Just be sure to apply a very thin line about 1/2" in from the outside of the card, so that when you apply pressure, it doesnt ooze out of the side. Also, you dont need to use much of the stuff to make it stick. Have fun, its great!
you gals are SOOOOO funny! I can't believe I had LOVE right in my hand and didn't know it!!!! Ok, I just made two cards with it. Right now I'd say I'm having a LIKE affair with Mono Multi--not a LOVE affair YET. How long does it take to dry after you put in on in case I want to reposition?
I know, all of the girls in my stamp club give me a hard time and tell me I need to get tape runner. No way, been there done that! Meanwhile, their taperunner is jammed, running out, etc...
oh, yeah, only a few seconds to get it right and its dry - stuck forever!!
Does anyone have a link to a picture of this glue..what does the packaging look like so I can recognize it in a store? or where do you get it? My taperunner is running out and now it is too expensive to buy Mono adhesive..
I just started using it and it's awesome. Sticks like crazy and one bottle goes a pretty long way. I love getting the most bang for my buck. More money for stamps!
It smells pretty too....well, pretty for glue. My DBF commented on it the other day when we were using it to make some cards. Yes....he's started stamping too!
I got 5 bottles from Scrapbook Pals...GREAT service, GREAT price, GREAT glue! I am on my first bottle, and since I didn't have this thread to get me going, I had to trial-and-error how to use it but I love it!
I bought some Mono Multi last weekend to use on my brother's wedding invitations. After making 60 so far, and with 40 more to go, I'm LOVING this glue!!! I'm so thankful I read about it here on scs, it's awesome stuff!!!
The BEST part is that you can get things perfectly straight! You do ahve a few seconds of "play" time when you stick your pieces together. You can kinda slide the top piece into place to get it perfectly lined up where you want it. I don't think I will ever go back to tape runners (I do still have them for ribbon and and some other things that wet glue won't work on) but I LOVE my Mono!
Toad, I havent been able to find it anywhere here (Winnipeg), although I have seen it on Canadian websites to be ordered. I have been ordering from www.franticstamper.com in the US though ... I've now gone to every scrapbook store/stamping store in Winnipeg and surrounding areas and no such glue, although they carry the other kinds of glue that they make. Ticks me off, I would love to buy locally!
Does anyone know if this super glue is available in Canada? You have me intrigued and now want to go try it.
Your LSS should be able to order it in for you. I've done this w/ products I could only find online and my LSS ordered it in for me and I had it w/in 2 weeks.
They are AWESOME to deal w/!! I e-mailed them and asked if they'd ship to Canada and how much (I told them exactly what I wanted to order) - they replied ASAP and I've already sent in my order to them! Great service and CHEAP price for the Mono Multi!

I've purchased a bottle or two of Mono Multi a few years ago from Office Depot in Edmonton. I haven't looked for any recently because I'm trying to use up the &#@* bottle of Mono Aqua I got at the same time.
I hate it when I layer my paper on my cards and they start to fall off. This would be great. Don't know if I would ever use it for scrapbooking because I am always moving things around but on cards that would be perfect. I will have to keep my eyes open!

Thanks Deb, I checked out http://www.franticstamper.com/ and I am going to check locally first, but I am thinking that I will end up ordering it online.

I will check out Office Depots as well - it would be nice to find a store to purchase it from, rather then online. Thank you for your help!
Does anyone know if you can use it to glue pictures into you scrapbooks?
The glue is acid-free so it should be safe. You would only need a small amount and I would recommend using gloves or a cloth to press the picture down so as not to leave fingerprints.
Be forwarned tho - if you use this to glue down your pics there's NO moving them later!! This stuff hold fast and the pics will most definitely tear if you try to remove them! HTH!
Here's another link for the WONDEROUS MONO!!!! I bought 10 and they sent it out right away with a thank-you and a cool letter opener too.
It's awesome for stamp camps and just your everyday use. My friends and customers prefer this to the snail, it's a good thing too because the mono last waaaaaayyyyyy longer than the snail and it's cheaper too.

I love Mono Multi glue. I've been using it for a few years. I don't use it for paper or photos, but I love it for gluing embellishments. It's very strong. I can't believe how much it can hold and it dries clear. It's great stuff!!!
I just ordered some as well. I can't wait to try it after all of the rave reviews!
I am still using the 2 way glue in a light blue tube and all different sizes. And I have the snail/tape glue which I always mess up so I am excited to try this. So glad I tuned in today to you ladies!
I too read all the posts about how great this glue was and ran out to get it!! NEVER again will I EVER use ANYTHING else!!
I love this glue and would marry it if it was possible!!
If you want to make it repositionable, you have to put glue on whatever you are working on (say your trying to put a flower on a card) and AFTER it dries, stick it to the card and then it will be repositionable. Otherwise, it is PERMANENT FOREVER!!!!!
Well I just wanted to tell you that I think this stuff is AWESOME!! ENJOY IT!!
