?? for Massachusetts S'U! Demos
Just wondering if anyone will be taking advantage of the proposed August 13th Sales Tax free day.. I would ask in the Demo forum but haven't ordered my kit just yet... If you've taken advantage of them before, was there a lot of extra paperwork or can you just submit your workshop orders normally and omitt the tax?
Just wondering.. I was thinking it would be a fabulous incentive for my Grand Opening open house to have No Sales Tax AND a customer discount...
I am just signing up to be a demonstrator and how exciting would that be to have a tax free party for the first one? I am curious how that would work!!! I just noticed I dont live that far from you!!! I am in Hudson!!

Too cool! You are very close.. Hudson is just 20 minutes from me.. Who will be your upline? Mine is actually in Merrimack, NH but she's a very close friend. She's also looking into this info for me, but I wanted to check here too... She's finding out directly from the demo message board at SU... If I find out soon I'll certaily let you know, unless someone else here knows first... So excited.. I would just LOVE to offer that to my guests!
I'm in Sterling MA. I was not a demo last year, but was able to take advantage of the FREE TAX DAY as a customer. I will absolutely be sure to take orders to be submitted that day.
So nice to know there are people close by! My upline is Stacie-she lives in Holliston. She is just wonderful!! I think I will be having a party that day! LOL sounds like a great way to get people to come over. Do we know yet how to go about doing it? I just sent in my demo forms today so I really dont know anything about anything yet! Hopefully I will be a quick learner.

Hi everyone, I'm in Boston and put in a huge order on the tax-free day in August 2004. You will not have to do anything special. Stampin Up! had announced the tax-free days for every state on the demo site and set-up OEX (the online order system for Stampin Up!) so that orders were tax-free automatically. When you enter the hostess name and address, OEX normally indicates the sales tax for that address and on the tax-free day, OEX showed 0 for MA, it was simple. Once you get your demo information, go to the demo website and check out OEX. And remember to check the demo home page for the announcement about tax-free orders.
Good luck.

This is way too cool! I feel like a little kid planning a birthday party! How awesome is it going to be to have a tax free grand opening!!???!!! WOOHOO... Denise, thank you so much for answering my questions for me...I really appreciate it.. We should all get together sometime for a girl's night ink...
I have been trying to find out info on the tax free day on the state website but cant seem to find any. Is it going to be August 13th? Also do you have until midnight to get the tax free? I having a class that day and I am wondering if I should have it earlier than my proposed 6:30-9:30pm to make sure the order is in on time. That would be a bummer to tell everyone no tax and then it ends at 10pm and I have not gotten the order in!!
