Red face love love love the bellas

but i don't like the idea of unmounted.:???:

i change my mind too often in the mid-stream.

do they come with a sticker like the ones from SU! to put on the back of the block and you could just permanently mount tham anyway?

if not... any solutions! some of them are almost too cute to resist and believe me i've been trying! the unmouted situation is my excuse now!

They don't come with stickers on the back of them, but I'm sure someone on here can give you tips on how to mount them permanently!

I was a little unsure at first, too. I've always used rubber stamps mounted on wood blocks. I have to say, though, that I have no problems with these stamps at all. In fact, it's kind of nice to see exactly where you're placing the image. They stamp nicely and they are easy to maintain. And, of course, they're lots of fun to color. Good luck with your decision!

Hiya potential bellaholics
just to let you know, you can always get clear sticker paper (from office store), stamp the image on it and then glue to the back of the wood.. or you can mount on acrylic and stamp on the back of the wood with stazon?
I hope this helps
Emily

I have mounted mine permanently on wood blocks (i bought them at cornish heritage farms when ordering something else) and did put the image on the front (stamped on paper and then colored for fun) and adhered it with modpodge...seemed to work fine :-D

The whole unmounted issue is one reason I haven't bought any bellas....

I was concerned about the unmounted rubber, but I just couldn't resist the cuteness! SO I ordered 3, might as well make it worth the charge on the card LOL! I got them and LOVE them! I just put alittle snail adhesive on the acrylic block... No Problems! I placed a second order to get the tacky stuff, ended up getting more Bellas and forgot to get the tacky stuff! Oh Darn, guess I'll have to place another order soon!

I love my mounted stamps, but the cuteness of the bellas totally overrides any timidity (did I just make that word up?) i have about going unmounted.

What I did (until I decide which way I want to mount them) is I put some regular double stick tape on an acrylic block and stuck the rubber right on that. Both the stamp and the tape peal right off the block. You could even use a CD holder for a block in a pinch.

Here's one I did last night:

Don't be intimidated. The bellas are too fabulous!! I just bought one of the acrylic blocks from Stamping Bella and used the double sided scotch tape. So easy!!! (AmyR may be too modest to mention it but she has some great ideas for using unmounted rubber stamps on her blog (Jan 22nd) -- it's what pushed me over the edge and into addictabellahood.;) )

I definitely miss the "squish" factor that comes from wood and foam and I might might mount them to cling foam or wood someday but I am having too much fun now to bother with it.

(Jeanne -- cute card and a really good idea!!!)

I thought about mounting my Bella stamps onto wood. But changed my mind because I love that I am able to see exactly where I want my Bella image to be simply by adhering it to an acrylic block. Because the rubber is deeply etched the image comes out perfect for me every time. I love ruuber stamps way more than I do the acrylic stamps so I am grateful that Emily has come up with a way for me to have my rubber with the ease of placement like the acrylic stamps do.

Default Bella dipping

Seeing Jeanne S's card this morning stamped with "walkabella" started me on a 1 hour search and thought process to delve into unmounted stamps! (Great card!)

Can I just buy the Tack n Peel that is sold on the bella website to mount her stamps?

I am thinking of buying the tennisbella & superabella. I love SCS that can answer all of my stampin' questions! :p

Yes. That is where I bought my Tack and Peel right on the Bella site. I'm not sure what stores Tack and Peel is sold.

Hi Lisa,

I believe I have seen Tack and peel at my local stamping store. I'm not sure if Michales or AC Moore sells it but thye might. I bought mine right from the bella site.

i haven't read all the replies, but saw a few that said not to be intimidated by the unmounted thing. i was a little apprehensive, but soon realized it was all easy as pie and this is just another way to have your stamps. i just ordered 5 more!!!
