I need plain white gumballs for a funny little Christmas gift I'm making and I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get plain white gumballs?
What about a candy store, we have a Mr. Bulkys by me and they sell candy in bulk, then you could pick out the white ones. Meijers has a bulk section this might help. What about white jelly beans instead of gumballs?
How about those small Mentos mints? Not the standard ones, but they have ones in blue and green boxes, I think they're Breathmakers, and they're round & white!
I don't know if this is the same thing, but I made these a few years ago for a Gag goft for my BIL and FIL.
Golf Ball Seeds
Place small colored gum balls in a plastic bag, and attach one of the following poems:
Golf Ball Seeds
You say you've lost too many balls,
The course is just too tough?
Just plant these little golf ball seeds,
And soon you'll have enough!
They thought it was hilarious. I added a little baggie with a topper to a basket with Golf gloves, tees, a cloth, ball marker, etc.
Hope that helps! Michelle
Not sure how many you are making but if you are not making a ton of them, you can buy white gumballs at "Origins"...either the individual Origin stores or the Origins counter in many Macy Stores. (Not sure where you are from, if you are not familiar with Origins...it is similar to Clinigue/Lancome but they have more shampoos, facial products, lotions, etc.)
I would use tic tac's I think... they are the right size and you can buy colored golf balls too for golfing in winter!! I think I saw green and orange ones and they make them in tic tac's too!!
I've also seen this done with a Christmas poem about "snowman poop". Cute idea for Christmas. However, I don't remember the poem. Has anyone else seen this??
