Blanket was finished, made burp cloths to coordinate with the blanket. And lo, and behold, they coordinated with the baby's bedding perfectly. Yeah, I did something right. I will post pictures, I have to get my parent's 60th wedding anniversary invites finished, then get ready for this weekends baby shower, I am helping hostess it. And bake cookies for the boys end of school parties.
I need a wife, that's for sure. One that can wrap pretty packages, follow a simple cookie recipe, and pick up dry cleaning. lol
I am trimming paper, putting finishing touches on teachers gifts, phone ringing constantly. The kindergarten class is going to make cards (stuff supplied by me), and draw or write the most fun thing they did this year in the class, put the card in a decorated album (supplied by me), and hopefully some of the other mothers will send some pictures ( I called them) of any class parties, or events. I think this will make a nice keepsake for the class, and I will put this all together at the ice cream party.
All the mothers who just promised to bring their pictures to put in the teachers scrapbook fizzled out on me. And nothing I can say, I forgot mine also.
I've actually gone back to do teabag folding again, it's been a long while, thought I'd see if I can come up with something for my christmas cards.
As long as my squares are cut I can fold while watching tv.
Every year I make calendars for the family using Photoshop and photos from the last year. I really need to start now!! Once school starts again, it gets too crazy!
Here are a couple of ideas that I saw and thought I would try for Christmas gifts. The first one is my first time using crackle distress paint on a photo frame and I really like the way it turned out, so I will be making more. The second one is a video I just saw and I haven't yet tried making jewelry with Polymer clay, so I really want to give this a try!

Hi I've tried and haven't been able to find the information on the "cold kit" and the "holiday survival kit"
any help or direction would be great, I'm kind of looking for kits instead of the "poop" ones.............
For anyone who makes cards, you might like to try this. I'm going to try the fine tip on my Stampin' Up! markers to see if that works too.....off to play:
I am planning a Christmas in July workshop, cleaning out kitchen cabinets, and overseeing bathroom demolition.
Busy, busy, busy.

Gayla, enjoy your "stamping holiday", we get so few of those.
I have had re modelers in and out of the house all week, then throw in a couple of rambunctious grandsons, and a house in absolute chaos. I am tired, but got to get graduation cards done before I forget where I put the gift cards.
I am working on sewing strips of quilts squares, going to be a holiday table cover, or at least that is what I am planning to do with these at the moment.
