Got called in to work this weekend, but I had time to grab my cuttlebug, petal cone box die, paper, got 20 boxes cut out for grandsons Easter parties at school.
I may not answer the phone tomorrow, I got shrubs to plant.

Still working on the boxes, when I get everything done, I will pile it up on a table, and take a picture. The petal cone boxes will be cute, but a little bit of work in my opinion.
Just wanted to say hi to everyone here.....so incredibly busy with my Masters work, I have had zero time to make anything. Thinking of all of you though.....

Not sure if this one has been posted on this thread yet but there are a few variations on the 2012 calendar
May day is Labor day over here, a public holiday. To be honest I didn't know there was anything really attached to the 1st of may. So if you were doing something special for May day what would it be? We will be heading straight to mothers day in may but celebrate a different fathers day to the US, ours is Sept
I remember as a child getting small baskets at the local dime store, and cutting garden flowers, and leaving them on neighbors porches for May day. I guess as a celebration of spring. Our friends owned a florist business, and they called May the "killer " month, lots of weddings, proms, graduations.
Thanks for the link help, I am on the work computer, they have us blocked from having any real fun. lol I feel lucky I can get on here at SCS.
Beautiful May Day box, I might have to get a few made. I am volunteering Saturday morning, my community has a Habitat for Humanity being constructed by a woman team only, and of course I got to get in on the action. I get to help on the painting/caulking team. My painting skills are
limited at best, hope they have someone to come behind me, and make it look better.
I don't know if any of you are into Digital gifts, but I just designed some Weekly Menu magnets for Mother's Day. They were fun and easy to do and then I sent the design into Vista Print and had them put on magnets, making them so you could use a Dry Erase marker to write the weekly menu. I am thinking these will make neat Christmas gifts this year as well.
I am dragging this week, on top fo the full time job, overtime, then trying to crosstrain in another modality, I have eight, yes eight baby showers before the middle of June. One of them I will be helping hostess. Two of the showers are for twin girls, so that is double shopping, and planning. So I dug up a crocheted baby blanket I started ? who knows, and I am going to finish it for a gift, sewing burp cloths, making the covered diaper wipe cases.
I will post pictures on my blog of finished gifts soon.

My fingers are aching, I am crocheting between x-raying patients. I gotta get this done. My room is so full of half finished projects, stuff in boxes for years, no use it just being stashed away.
