Stampin up had Christmas bingo stamps in the holiday mini, so I had to get them for the boy's parties. My grandson's mother abandoned them when they were 8 months, and 20 months old. So I go overboard for them on every event, and party. They consider me to be their mother now, and I center my life around them now. Two precious loving little boys, and they are so excited about Christmas.

Those tea lights are definitely to watch for after the holidays for markdowns. I always watch after Christmas, for any red ribbon, dishes, that can be used for Valentine's.

Playing Christmas bingo with 16 kindergarteners was a experience, the first graders did a little better, but the kids had good time at the parties, and a lot of family participation.

Now, get ready for Valentine's.

I am pretty much done for Valentines! I have 12 purses done and 12 Ghiradelli boxes - just waiting for the Candy to go on Clearance after Christmas - and I got the red hearts candy for Cupid poop the other night so just need to assemble the heart baskets!

I am watching White Christmas, finishing up the one inch inserts for the Simply Adorned charms from SU. And I have found it's not easy doing some decent looking work in a one inch area, but they are gonna get it anyway as a gift.

And I found a WalMart bag scrunched up will scrape off loose embossing powder off the ink pads.

Hi Ladies! Bet some of you thought I fell off the face of the earth, didn't you? Nope, still here and kicking!! Busy with my life that is all and this year Christmas is not exception.

Have a dilemma, made these board books early this year with intentions to give to son's teachers as a going away gift.....he graduated in May. But, because of life issues, did not get them finished. So, now here I am with all these books and needing a few fill in gifts. I think these would do fine. But, I do not want to spend a ton of time on them....as I don't have a lot to give. Unfinished Board Books by cvansluys - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I was thinking of just finishing the fronts with "Photos I Love" or "My Favorite Photos", add a few ribbons to the ring, a roll of double sided tape and/or photo corners, a few blank journaling tags and a journaling pen......and call me happy! What do you think?

These are going to teen and pre-teen nieces and nephews. Your thoughts are most appreciated!!

I do not belong.....thanks! I will be checking in often just in case. I really trust all of your opinions on this.....these are kids that range from 11 - 16...I often wonder this age really appreciates the handcrafted gifts in the age of techinology.

Thanks ladies.....those are great ideas! In fact, I could get one pkg of letters, embelishments and supplies per the brother/sister in one family and the two sisters in the other. Let them share.

Since we are going up there for 10 days, I can schedule time with them to work on them. Great idea!

Thanks!!

Just made a batch of Denise's Lotion.....family members asking for refills. Used the Baby Lotion with Oatmeal because the Wal-Mart close to me did not have the Aloe and Cucumber scent I really like. It smells very nice and fresh as well. This batch made 9-8 oz. with about 1/2 of a 4oz jar remaining.

I use my Kitchen aid as well.....you really have to whip the Vaseline for a l-o-n-g time first then everything else for quite sometime.

I have a niece and nephew that requested this. They live in Wisconsin and their hands get so cracked....to the point of bleeding....this is the only thing that helps them through the winter.

Hubby made 3 types of quick breads this morning and I am finally now getting around to wrapping them in cellophane and curling ribbon. We will take them to our "favorite" neighbors with some jams and fudge. You know you have to take care of the neighbors that border your house.

Sounds yummy and a very nice thing to do- we take care of a neighbor also - bringing him meals and goodies from time to time! I made all my cookies today - 9 batches (7 kinds) but some still need to be frosted and than all the trays made up! Still have a few more things to get done - not sure they will with having both my Mom and My brother in the hospital - at least it is the same hospital!

Thanks.....I will get cracking on it tomorrow. The LSS by me is starting to have sales, maybe between them, Mike's and HL I can get all I need if I don't have it. I will have to post photos with their finished projects....that is if I am allowed to be in on it!

I brought some card making stuff to work with me, hope I will have time to get to it.

Running out of time, and patience. Hmm, maybe a piece of fudge will help.
I will go poke around in the ER, they always got a stash of something this time of year.

Hey Cindy,

Our way of taking care of the neighbors that border our property is to plant extra red tip photinias, and fertilize well. Pretty son, we won't know they are there. lol
