Default Cookies in a Jar

Just did a craft show and I sold out of Cookies in a jar. Kinda bummed because what I didn't sell I was going to give as gifts. This is a must do again for next Christmas.

What flavor of cookie mix did you put in your jars? Would you be willing to share your recipe(s) with all of us? Thanks!

Last year a friend of mine gave me soup in a jar and it was wonderful. I've attached her mix

I don't have her pic but she put it in 1 qt Mason jars, shet cut a piece of calico fabric for the top and tied it with a ribbon. Her gift tag had the cooking instructions printed on it.

This web site has a lot of jar receipies:

Last year I made peppermint white chocolate bark for my kids teachers - and they loved it! They asked for more this year plus the recipe

Where is everyone at this year? Last year you could hardly keep up with all of the great ideas everyone was sharing.

I will get pictures on my blog this week. I finished my wreath made from rolled up sheet music, and I did a trial run of the blizzard in a glass made with the fuzzy winter socks. Also the idea for the Rudolph's extras stocking stuffers, going to do those in pretzel bags.

And I have a sad story, I cut thirty pieces of card stock, started the Christmas bingo cards for the grandson's school parties. Cannot find them to save my soul. I have time to start over, but geez, started early to avoid the time crunch. Oh well, life, and stamping goes on.

Dear Patrice, sorry for your "loss". LOL

I spent some frantic time Saturday morning looking for the tags I had designed for my Saturday afternoon tag class. Luckily, they finally turned up.

Hope your Bingo cards turn up, too.

Linda,

Back on page 39 of this thread, about half way down, there is a blog Deck the Halls with Christmas Joy, click on that, you will see it.

I got my glasses and socks at Big Lots, coordinated my paper, ribbon to match the socks. I think I will be able to pull this off, and look really great, at about $2.50 a nurse, whis is pretty good for co-workers.

Can you make these ahead of time? Would you freeze them? The recipe sounds delicious.

Christmas is coming and I think we only have 30 plus more days to go. I got a lot of plan but I'll start up with putting up christmas trees and christmas decorations at home. Btw, for anyone looking for a great christmas tree site check out green valley Christmas tree delivery website. Just recently bought a tree last week.

It will be a few days before I bake anything, I feel like the stuffed turkey today. I just indulged in a few too many carbs yesterday, seem's like I never learn my lesson.

I'm TAKING your idea and RUNNING WITH IT - ONLY if you give me permission that is. (Please, pretty, pretty please, with a bribe included!!) <----but you'd have to name your bribe!

Oh, I'm SO excited to see these. Have I been under a ROCK this long to have missed these if you posted them in your gallery? THEY are SO CUTE!!! Ok, I'm really excited now!

HI GUYS - nice to see some familiar faces. Haven't been on this thread in a LONG TIME....wondering about a few missing faces..

So glad to have you back - here is the link to the tea house tutuorial . No bribe needed. The tutorial is kind of long but it really doesn't take long to make once as it uses dies and punches. Have fun and post a pic as I'd love to see other versions.

I have everything done BUT one quilt that needs to be sandwiched and tied and another one that I have to finish the hand quilting on!

I've made to date: 100 Christmas Cards (all signed, addressed and stamped), 25 Christmas cards for work to send out, 18 cards for my husband and daughter's card players group, 15 Christmas Eve invitations (mailed), 30 memo tin holders with a glass pebble magnet and pen, 9 scarves, 14 tote bags, 2 afghans, 7 jr. legal pad folios with matching RSVP pens, 45 snowman smores treats, 12 cocoa holders - not to mention all the other goodies I have been working on in between - for Valentine's day - 12 Ghiradelli boxes and 12 heart purses and prepped 18 Easter baskets!

Last night I finished my Thanksgiving cards for next year! (I borrowed the set from a friend and want to get it back to her so I stamped the images the other night and felt bad that they were just laying naked on the work table so I got them finished!)

Next I will start on my years worth of birthday & anniversary cards along with some get well and sympathy cards - I did it this past year and it was great to just reach into the box and grab a card - sign it and mail it off!!!! Plus I need to get started on the items for my daughter's graduation - invites, announcements, favors etc..........and will gather ideas for next years Christmas treat and gifts - I have the idea for my cards already and the stamp set so those will be worked on in between everything else!
