Default ISO recipe for stamp cleaner

I remember seeing a recipe for the stampin mist cleaner. I thought I saved it but can't locate it now. I'm sure someone out there can help me. TIA!

PS Sorry, I got this message in the wrong category, but I don't know of a way to delete or move it.

This is the one I got from here and the same one is on StampTalk.

2 T Glycerin
8 oz. of Distilled water
little bit of Babt Wash

I used 1 teaspoon of baby wash in mine. I bought Equate brand and it works great!

I do not remember who posted it to this site. Sorry!

HTH

Just made a fresh batch this afternoon. I got some of the rosewater glycerin at Wal-Mart because I read on SCS, that is makes it smell nice, it really does!

Does the babywash have a fragrance? Just wondering if I need to get the rose-flavored glycerin, since I have some plain stuff hanging around someplace... TIA for your help!

Happy trails....

Does it have to be distilled water or will bottled water work?

I used plain glycerin and tap water (I am on a well, so no chlorine) with baby soap. I added a few drops of orange essential oil to make it smell pretty! Works great, and this amount filled 3 small hairspray bottles from Walmart.

I bought Wal-Mart brand baby wash and there is almost no smell? The glycerin is in the RX dept at any drug store.

I used the distilled water, I would think that it might *keep* longer and not go stale?

Scenting the water is optional, but we all love a good smell! LOL

For mine, I use about 2 drops of dish liquid, a dab of leave in conditioner, and fill the bottle the rest of the way with water. It works great for me, and its really cheap.

Default question

Does anyone know if that recipe will work for acrylics, too? I have SU stamps and CTMH stamps. Thanks for the help, and for the recipe.

Can not see any reason this would not work on acrylic stamps. There are not harmful chemicals or cleaners in it. The small amount of glycerin is for conditioning, I know it works for SU stamps.
