Default ISO of a Large Circle Cutter - opinions needed

I am looking for a large circle cutter (that cuts larger than 6"). I do not have the funds for the larger Cricut. Do that option is out.

I just bought the Martha Stewart Large Circle Cutter after watching the video on it. Tried it out using the CTMH cutting mat, and I had to press down on the blade so hard, I pulled a muscle in my arm. And it didn't cut very well, if at all. Do I have to have the Martha Stewart Cutting Mat? Did I do it wrong? Do I have a defective cutter? The lady in the video, pushed down hard on the center part, but not the blade. Thoughts?

I know Creative Memories has a large circle cutter, but you can only cut basicly 2 sizes with it. (8.25, 8.5, 8.75, 11.25, 11.5, and 11.75). I want to cut more than that.

Anyone else have a large circle cutter on the market?

Thanks.

Trish

I have the smaller Martha Stewart/E.K. Success Circle Scissor, and I find that it works best with a glass mat. That might be the case for the larger circle cutter that you have too.
