Default I'm having a "Mexician Fiesta" issue.... Help!

Ladies,

My husband's boss invited us to his daughter's Wedding reception -- they were married in Mexico, and came home and are having a Mexican Fiesta reception. Help I am drawing a blank on ideas!! Remember the key phrase "boss' daughter" haha

How about using Buds & Blossoms to make a fun, colorful card? And if you are looking at gift ideas, how about a party in a basket? Get a nice colorful willow basket, put 4 margarita glasses in it with colorful fabric napkins, colored salt for the rims, a bottle of Cuervo and a bottle of Margarita mix. You could make fun glass charms using shrink plastic & Buds & Blossoms (largest flower works best), too. Add some colorful candy (think pinata candy) and boom! A party in a basket - and the newlyweds are ready to entertain! That is, if they like a margarita!

That's always gone well for me - I do Italian dinner in a basket (all the ingredients for spaghetti plus a gift card for the local grocer), or breakfast in bed on a tray (again, gift card for perishables). . .

That's been my favorite gifts to give and to receive!

The sun from Something Nice is a great image for Mexican themes too. I made a card recently where I stamped the shadow with versamark and used the pastels to color it with Summer Sun, Only Orange and Real Red out from the center to the tips concentrically. Then when I stamped the sun on top in black it was very colorful. Mounted on a Tempting Turquoise card, it looked very Mexican.
