I wish I had my new cuttlebug to play with tonight!
I think it will be here early next week, but I SO wanted to be playing with it tonight! I guess I could go and make sure my table is nice and organized for when it does get here.
I love my cuttlebug. Did you order any embossing folders to use with it? The four small ones that come with the cuttlebug really don't do much. If I could I'd lend you some of mine.

I love my bug and I think it has been the best investment in my crafting supplies I have ever made. I use it on almost everything I make. If I'm not using it with ef I use it for my nesties. Most of the time I use it for both things on every card I make. So I know you will have so much fun with it. Enjoy it when it comes!
Hi Erin, I feel your pain!! I know that you are so excited as I would be too! So with that being said, take your own advice and get your crafting table all cleaned up and ready to go!! Next maybe take a look here or in any magazines that you might have and see what you can case! Have a plan of what you might want to make and have all your supplies ready to go! This will all save time and allow you more time to play with your bug!!
I don't know if you saw my reply in your post about your shipping from creative express, but if you can take a look!!! You are enabling me!!!
Have so much fun when you get it!! Do you own any other die cut machines??
Connie, I have a Slice, and I use it only every scrapbook page I make. I had a Big Shot once upon a time, but I only have a small craft area, and got rid of it for space reasons. I have a little nook set aside on my shelves for my cuttlebug already, so I won't be getting rid of it! I'm hoping this is the nudge I need to make a few cards for a change.
Thanks everybody for cuing me in on how noisy it is! If anybody were to get anxiety about that, it would be me! Now I can just have fun and forget about it.
I got my cuttlebug a few weeks ago and I'm having such fun with it. Just after Christmas I bought the Sizzix Texture Boutique Embossing Machine that just does embossing and I LOVED it 'but' I fell in love with the Cuttlebug by watching youtube videos. I boxed up my Texture Boutique and will give it to my daughter in law for Christmas this coming year with a bunch of folders.
My cuttlebug only came with one A2 folder and NO C plate so I ordered the C plate and two more B plates to use just for embossing and a bunch more folders and dies.
What fun.
Susie
yay Susie! I'm glad to know everybody loves their bug so much. Mine finally shipped YESTERDAY!! Is that not crazy? I ordered it on January 22nd, I believe. Anyway, with the crazy weather, there's no telling when I'll get it, so I'm just tryin' to be patient. It would have been great to have it this week while I was sick and snowed in, though!
Erin,
I hope it comes to you quickly.
I used it quite a few times today.

susie, those are beautiful! I scrolled down to your scrapbook pages, too. You said you didn't like them, but I do! Nothing wrong with pre-made. Especially when you have pictures that match!
the fedex tracking said my bug will be here on Tuesday, but I heard we're expecting more snow over the weekend, and possibly freezing rain on Monday? I'm not holding my breath, but I'm still hopeful!
Erin,
I like the pre-made pages but I would rather do my own.
I hope your BUG surprises you and comes early. Let us know how you like it.
Wish we lived closer. I live in a tiny town and no one around here anything like this.
Susie
grrrr....Fedex says my estimated delivery date is tomorrow, but the tracking says it's still in colorado! aaaah! We're expecting a ton of snow on Wednesday, and I SO want it before then!! :0
Thanks Karen, because I'm trying my best to be patient, and it seems like a long time to me, too. I ordered it on January 22nd, and it didn't ship until the 3rd, I think it was. Now I guess all of the bad weather might delay it some more. Although I'm thinking it may not have been scanned, because it says it hasn't moved since Friday. (I work at UPS, and sometimes that happens with UPS tracking.) I just want a chance to play with it before my kids have more snow days!
Sure liked my Cuttlebug and it was not the least bit noisy.
Just got too tight on a folder and broke - I miss it so much. It is a wonderful little machine. Enjoy them only do not force a plate thru that is what I did.
I'm sorry yours broke. :( How sad that would be. Did you see the picture of the big shot all taken apart? Somebody's husband knew what to do, but it sure was painful to look at the big shot parts all scattered like that!
I see them for sale cheap all the time. I think Vee is selling one in good condition for around $35 shipped. Cuttlebug machine and dies- SOLD by Vee at Splitcoaststampers
good luck!
Thank you, Erin!
I have sent Vee a note, thanks to you.
No I did not see the big shot all taken apart!
I sure wish the ciutlebug could be fixed but I have never seen that anyone has been able to. I sure miss it - I did borrow a friend's big shot for a couple of days. Thanks again, SCS friend.
You're getting more snow this week??Really??? My kids are in Norman and OU was closed 4 days last week. I think they're just sitting around wasting time
Yep! It's supposed to start around 6 tomorrow and snow all night long, giving us from 6-10 inches again.
I think my cuttlebug is coming tomorrow!! It arrived in Fort Worth, TX at 6:58 pm tonight. If it was coming UPS, that would mean it would be sorted and sent to OKC, arriving around 3am, then unloaded and sorted onto the truck to be delivered tomorrow! So, crossing my fingers here!!
Better snow than ice??? What a winter. My kids moved from Boston 2 years ago, so they're used to some of this--but they live on a cul de sac and the city keeps plowing their driveway closed-HA! Haven't read all 90 pages of the CBug forum, but like most of crafting, it sometimes take trial and error for certain things--I used mine for lots of embossing, and some quick cutting-love that it doesn't take up much space but it's versatile! After skimming th eforum today, I did print out the chart that tells which sandwich to use for different brands of dies/folders-great tool!
Oh man you are a patient woman! I wonder why if you ordered it on the 22nd that it took 12 days to get it shipped? I'm an instant gratification type of gal. I would have gone to the store and bought another one by now LOL I sure hope it comes today!

Me, too. And I would have, only they don't sell the blue ones in the stores anymore. It's the old style, and a limited edition. I had been looking for one obsessively when somebody on here found it for me, and I ordered it right away. I have NO idea why it took them so long to ship it because they never answered either of my e-mails. But, it's coming today!! The fedex site says 'out for delivery'! Are there any sweeter words in the English language than 'out for delivery'?
I agree with Suzie - would love to have seen you open it and play with it.
Hope you have it by now. Thanks again for your info - mine will be on the way tomorrow.
So many folders to use in it - I just borrowed the Lattice by SU from a friend and now have it on order. so pretty and so many uses. ENJOY and His many blessings.
I'm sorry! I didn't even post it here, because I thought everybody saw my other post! Yes, it came yesterday, and I had a good hour to play with it before I had to go get the kids. It's awesome, and I love it!! I think it's beautiful, and it's kind of inspiring just sitting on my table. I love how it folds up and can sit so handy, right on my shelf.
It's not as loud as I expected it to be, but the only die I have is the small one they included. So that may be why.
My kids are home today because of the snow, but maybe I'll get a chance to play later?
Erin,
I hope it comes to you quickly.
I used it quite a few times today.
