Default I need expert help... can this be done????

I want to combine 2 techniques to come up with a really unique card.... I want to use the floating and the window technique.... SO let me tell you my idea and hopefully there is a wonderful stamper who has either done this or can assure me that this can or can't be done.....

OK, I want to use the floating technique with the on angels wings angel stamp and use the glitter window effect around the angel... (does this make sense?) is there a way of doing this????

confused & challenged stamper!!!!

I'm no help in the "how to do it" category, but I'd love to see what you come up with.

It sounds absolutely angelic!

Hi Wendy - I just did my first floating image card (loaded but still pending approval) and I have done regular glitter windows and the Cheaters Glitter Painting technique by JanTink ( Gallery at Splitcoaststampers ). I think between those three you can figure out a way to do your angel. I would either combine the floating image with the glitter window (cut out and stick the angel image on the sticky side first and then sprinkle the glitter around the angel on the rest of the sticky side) ) OR I would do JanTink's method which is a little more work but seals in the glitter and gives a clearer image. Hope that helps. Good luck! Linda

I am thinking here - can you stamp the angel on the transparency sheet and then stamp it on a plain piece of paper and cut it out - use that to mask the angel using a removeable adhesive or double stick tape on the transparency and then run it thru the Xyron, sprinkle dazzling diamonds and then remove the masked angel....image is clear but all around it should be just so dazzling.....

VIOLA?????

That sounds like it will work! I cannot wait to try this for myself!
