I just found out that one of my cards was published in the Spring 2006 Take Ten. I didn't get the magazine from them, and would not have know even now, if my boss hadn't purchased the magazine to take on a flight with her. She brought it into the office today to show me some of the cute cards and as I was looking through it, I saw one of my cards. I mailed this card to them over a year ago, so just figured that none of them would ever be published. This is a first time for me and boy am I excited. I called Stampington to find out about my free magazine and they are going to put it out in the mail to me today. BTW, my boss hadn't finished looking at it when she brought it in, so she wasn't aware that I had a card published.

I honestly don't know how this card even made it. It is so plain and simple, but it is on page 111 and called Gentle Thoughts. It didn't take me long to memorize this. By the way Jess, you have some fantastic cards in there as well. Congratulations to you. I pointed out your cards, Sereikastampers cards and Mamakimberlys cards to my boss. I acted like I knew all of you really well. She was impressed.

Congrats! That is awesome!! When did that mag come out? I have the one from a few months ago, is this a more recent issue???
This was an issue that came out March 1st. I didn't know anything about it until yesterday. I was so busy during tax season (Jan - April) that I did very little shopping, so missed the magazine on the shelf. This was just a fluke that my boss brought this in for me to look at and she hadn't seen the card either. I was scanning through it and saw my name. The next issue to come out is June 1st and that is the summer issue.
Jess, I will be seeing you sometime around the weekend of June 10th. I will be out there visiting my daughter and I will be going to your mom's for a visit. I am looking forward to meeting your little one.
Keri, it would be really wonderful and a treat if you were there that same weekend so I could finally meet you.

You are so funny. As I was looking through it I kept seeing cards with yours, Keri's and Sharon's (Stampersharon) names and I was so excited for both of you. You are so much more famous. I really can tell people that I know several famous people in this magazine because of your stamping thing last year.
