I finished a scrapbook!

Ok, you have to understand something here. I have been scrapbooking for 8 years. During the past four years I have done 5 scrapbooks NOT for me. I havent even done a wedding scrapbook for us yet! So last Christmas I was asked to do a scrapbook of a family's Disney trip. Easy right? WRONG. So I worked so hard this week and FINALLY FINISHED IT! It ended up being 40 pages. Insansity. That 12x12 album is so heavy I can get a workout just lifting it! The whole time I was finishing it this week I was mumbling how I will NEVER scrapbook again. So I have my mom tell the guy who's book it is that I finished (out of state) and he goes, "great I have more!" NEVER AGAIN!!!! I think I will need to take a year off before I can even start my own scrapbooks!

Awesome! What a great feeling I bet! I don't scrapbook for the simple fact that I know I will never finish it!

Gosh I know how you are feeling. My mother has sent me quite a few hundred photots to make her a scrapbook with. She sent me supplies and everything. I hate to say it, but I am doing the bare minimums with it. I just can't bring myself to get excited and want to go all out on it, just knowing how much of my own stuff I have to do. I'd really rather be playing with my stamping stuff and experimenting on techniques or learning fun stuff for workshops. I have vowed myself to finish this book soon, and I told my mother that I will not ever do this again. She said fine all huffy and puffy, and I told her that SU has great scrapbook kits now that all she has to do is put it together. We will see I guess.
