I can be dense sometimes, and this is one of those times...
I was in a non-card swap and received an item which, when unfolded is 3 1/4" x 8 1/2". It is folded over 2 1/8" inches from the top. It has velcro stuck to the inside of the flap with the other piece for me to stick on.
Here's the question...What the heck is it? I know it is so simple and I'm sure I will fell reeeeeaaaallllllyyy stupid when I find out, but right now knowing is more important to me than keeping from looking stupid. The artist's information is not on the back, so I can't even contact her.
Thank you all, and please be kind. Dawn

Okay - so either way, bookmark or grocery list holder, I have no idea what the velcro would be for. Unless it is a gift card holder and you finish it out to the size you need?
Maybe you'll get lucky and the person who made them will see this thread!
Is the dot of velcro on the flap oe where the flap meets the back(inside)? If its on the inside back, maybe you put a dot of velcro on the back of a long notepad, and adhere it so you can still pull of sheets. Then get another velcro dot and put on a new pad when first one runs out? Hmmm...

I was in this swap too- GREAT SWAP!! by the way!
I did NOT make this but I think it's a post-it note holder. I put a post-it in mine and just folded the bottom up where it needed a fold and then stuck the velcro down. I think whoever made it didn't score the second fold for us since she would not know how thick our notepad would be? Just my guess.
