Default How to use little plow type dry pack things

A while ago there was talk about how to use the little things that come in pill bottles that keep pills dry. I didn't have any at the time but now I do and for the life of me I can't remember what the talk was about for using them. And of course I can't find the forum about them. Can someone direct me to where I can read about what you'll do with the little things?

Oh, good grief. My topic should read "pillow" type dry pack things, not "plow". I hate that this computer corrects my spelling errors with what it thinks it should say. LOL

I put one in eachTupperware type container I have for most of my embossing powders-I figure it will cut down on caking and static. Also toss one in drawers with metal tools. It rains here a lot so the humidity is higher and that can cause rust and mold. Our house is well insulated thankfully.

I think I remember that thread. People who live in high humidity climates, or who have a craft room in damp basements use them to keep their paper from warping.

I think some people may open them up and use them as micro beads and color them with reinkers. I throw them into boxes of envelopes or drawers with paper.

Default How to use the pillow dry packs

Thanks girls. Putting one of the pillow pack things in with embossing powder is the one I was trying to think of. The other ideas that you all mentioned sound really good, too. Thanks a bunch. Helen
