Default how many stamp sets?

just curious - how many stamp sets do you have? Once I decided to get into stamping (I had been scrapbooking for about 10 years), I bought a bunch of used stamp sets in big lots (on ebay, etc). Now I have about 200 sets. I was wondering who has the record? I know there must be folks out there with maybe 5 times that amount - am I correct?

I have maybe 50 sets. But, I purge my stash several times a year, selling off what I don't use. So my 50 could easily grow to 100 or more in a short amount of time if I let it. I just don't have the space for it!

Ahh, but that was a year and a half ago. It can't be accurate any more...just CAN'T be! LOL!

Well, I haven't counted recently. Please don't make me count, cuz I don't want to know. I know it is more than what charliemom has, but nowhere near 5 times what she has.

awhile back I answered and it was somewhere around a 1000. I am certain that I have more than double that now. Over 2000. This includes all my SU sets, TAC sets, CTMH sets, Inkadinkado, Flourishes, PTI, Verve, Our Daily Bread, Clear dollar stamps, Just Rite, Prickley Pear, Waltzing Mouse, Cloud 9, Fiskars, MFT, Sweet N Sassy...just to name a few.
blessings.

I also answered in the thread that Jukie linked too and since then I've added quite a few more stamps to my collection. I'm probably up around 2000 individual stamps (I don't keep track of sets - too far gone for that! )

Default big thanks

Thanks for providing the thread to my question regarding the number of stamps. After readingthe posts I find I am an amateur compared to some and a compulsive shopper compared to others. I am determined to utilize each and every set (I just have to live to about 125).

Very few stamp sets, but 20 years worth of individual stamps - and I'm afraid to count them!

I think I have the equivalent of 466 sets. This is a rough equivalent, assuming about 5 to 7 medium single stamps (which were sold individually) in a "set". One large background stamp would count as a "set". Etc. I didn't count them all; just estimated based on the space that the stamps occupy. This is after purging!! However, I have been stamping since around 1992.

Are you ready for this shocking number? I have two sets! ROFL! I am serious. I really do. I have Knobbly Gnomes & a French butterfly set that I forgot the name. I have a small migraine right now. I do own a lot of individual stamps. I think I have around 200 individual stamps.

Hi!
I have over 500 sets, and 1,000 +/- single stamps. I've been involved in stamping since 1994, and as friends have stopped stamping they've left their stamps with me. Shhh.... don't tell DH, he prefers not to know, even though he used to take me stamp shopping. I haven't bought a stamp in 5 years.
