Sometimes I get versamark ink stain on my image paper while stamping. How do I get rid of that stain? Recently I had a stain on the paper of one of my image and the ugly patch sort of ruin the overall look of the card. I don't intend to colour the image. Any remedy?
Not sure if my attachment will appear too small to see the patch.
I don't think you can get rid of it either. And because of the resist effect, even if you did want to colour the image, it would most likely still show.
That's a really lovely image!
Okay, I did this a couple of times, and was really annoyed with myself about it. but one was stamped onto a beautiful piece of paper and I didn't want to waste it as I only had a six inch by six inch piece. As I had mounted it onto an A6 card, so I just took the remaining paper, found the matching pattern, snipped out a tiny bit, enough to cover the mark. I ran it through my sticker machine and placed it over the mark. It was barely noticeable. But I tried the same with cardstock and it was a bit obvious that there was something there.
HTH.
Quite honestly, I don't see any problem with the image you show. Perhaps I'm missing something. Sometimes we as the Creator of the card notice things that no one else would even give a second glance to. Don't look for a problem that isn't there.
To prevent this in the future, remove the rubber from the wood block and cut it closer to the image. It is excess rubber on the block that is causing your problem. The other option is to cut out the image after it is stamped and mount it on your card stock. HTH By the way, that is a beautiful image!
try different surfaces under the cardstock,or as last option unmount and try that way with trimmed closer to the image.i have found if i put a mouse pad under cardstock sometimes it helps, try a qtip wiping those problem areas right before you stamp?
love the image tho

Take it from someone who messes up her images ALOT ... a little bit of sponging works miracles! LOL I just lightly sponge some matching or coordinating ink around it, and pretend like I intended it to look like that.
