I have a lot of stamping supplies that I need to let go of as we downsize. I would like to find a local group that makes cards and donates them to military, nursing homes, etc. rather than just taking to Goodwill. We no longer have a LSS unfortunately to ask- only box stores. I am looking in the Lawrenceville GA area. TIA for any help!
When I was looking for other stalkers. Someone told me to check out meet up.com Which I did. I found about 3 Groups in my area.
please tell me you typed this on an iPhone with auto correct spellcheck! LOL!

It's also fun to attend crops & participate in the chit chat. Lots of scrappers chat about their card-making, and some have favorite places for stamping classes, church card ministries, etc.
If you're on FB, you might search for nearby demos who have a business page. It's totally fair to message them to ask if they hold some sort of charity stamping gatherings, or if they know of other stampers who would like to do that.
I know 1 local lady (not a customer) is so involved in card making ministry for her church that she now teaches others how to start up such a group in their churches. ;) I've known her for several years due to always attending same stamping/scrapping shows that travel around. LOL

I have family in your area! My aunt, in particular, knows so many people who volunteer in different organizations and ministries. I've contacted her to see if she knows of anyone for you. Will get back to you when I get a reply.
I found this just googling "groups who send cards to troops"...I am always amazed by the internet these days. You can ask for anything these days! There were other choices.
Thanks for this link- it's excellent. I used to do cards for a couple of different military groups, and really liked it. I will be contacting them when I can carve out some time for stamping.
