I really love the SU inspiration sheets, but I find it really hard to ever get any. I have only gotten them at workshops and then when I traded for them one time. I have never had a demo give me any. I would love to have some from the new catty, but how is someone like me (a non-demo) supposed to go about that? My demo is very long-distance, so I don't really know her, outside of e-mails and she's never offered. I know demos have to pay for them, so I can understand being careful with giving them out, but how do you get one if you really want them and just can't find an outlet? I don't mind paying, but I think it doesn't work that way, right? Also, do they make them for the sets in the Mini? I would love any new ones, but I am getting Booglie Eyes this week and also Cowboy Kid and it would cool to have those.
Thanks for any help... I'm learning how all this works!
SU releases six new sheets per quarter. Mini sets are not included, since the shelf life is so short. If the set happens to make the catalog, they might make one, but not before.
You don't have a local demo? I know that it's kind of hit and miss anyway with the Insp. Sheets....some demos never even look at them, let alone purchase them. They come in packs of 25 each, and many demos might feel they wouldn't use nearly that many.
Cindy, definitely make your demo aware that you are interested in the Inspiration Sheets. You've already gotten your answer that they don't make them for the mini sets, so you're not missing out on those, but definitely tell your demo!!!

I have some extras of some older ones that are still in the catalog and have quite a few of Heartfelt Thanks, All Wrapped Up, Do the Hula, and Designer Label Punch Box with new ones on order. If you would like some let me know, I can share. What I like to do is put mine in a Binder with page covers over them so they are protected from and spills, etc. I suggest if you like them as much as you sound like you do that you start now so they are all easy to view and I like the system. Good Luck!
I agree, definately let your demo know you are interested in them. My demo gives us the set of 6 if we host a party. Then, if we purchase a stamp set, we get to chose one sheet per set. She lets us go looking her stash of old ones and new ones.
If you have a particular one in mind, let me know. I can probably color copy them and send them to you. Just let me know.
I like these as well....and used to get them at card classes I attended. Since I became a hobby demo, I am able to order them...but it is way more than I need. Lately I buy them by the set on Ebay and they are $2-3 or so.

I think you should ask your demo for them. If one of my customers asked for them, I would be placing a supply order ASAP to get them. (I do anyway, but I'm saying if I didn't and they wanted them....) I think most demo's are more than happy to give customers what they want and need, if at all possible.

I give my new hostesses a complete set for hosting a party. Then every quarter I give them the most current 6. I don't have tons of customers and don't have many workshops, that's why I am able to do that. If your demo doesn't have them or give them away, the BST board here is a good place to find them.
Hi, I compilied this list myself, collecting the sheets too and needed a list. Searched eBay till i got what i think is a complete list. ~Emily Ann July 2003 (#1)

That's a great list Emily! Only the ones from July 05 (Group #9) and later are still available for your demo to order from SU. If you need an earlier one you should probably check the BST board. I have boatloads of these things and should probably unload some there.
I'm intrigued by the inspiration sheets. I've never seen one. What are they? Do they give you ideas of cards to make with those sets or what? If that's what they are, I'd be interested in some of them. Thanks.

Each one gives you 6 ideas for that particular set (one of these is usually a scrapbook page.) They tell you the materials needed to make it, give you a color combo suggestion (with an alternate) and, what I find helpful, the measurements for the layered pieces. The samples are fairly simple, at least compared to what you would find in the SCS gallery ;) , but are usually pretty eyecatching.
Thank you, Beth! I purchased this set already and am very happy to get your link for the Inspiration Sheet for it.
I have 2 demos, one is very good about making sure all stamp camp participants get the newest Inspiration Sheets every quarter; the other may have them out at the stamp camp where you can select 2 individual sheets as a drawing prize if your name is called (and they aren't already done by the time your name might get called). But neither one told me about this additional sheet online!

I was also wondering how you got those. I got some one time from my demo when I had gone around and gotten serveral large orders and turned them in, she treated it like a hostess type thing and gave me the hostess stuff for the amount of orders. When I asked her about the inspiration sheets she gave me a lot of them, but that is the only time she has given me any. So, I assumed that they were something you got when you hosted???? I would really like to find some for some of the older sets that I have if any one knows where to get the older ones (ones from stamps that some of them are now retired)???? Does anyone think SU would reply if I contacted them and gave them a list????

Every demo can run her business as she chooses. Some give an inspiration sheet when you buy the matching set, some do for hostesses or stamp camp participants.
One thing I can state with a fair amount of certainty is that SU! will not provide inspiration sheets directly to a non-demo. I'm sure they will reply but it won't be in the affirmative LOL. The inspiration sheets are only available on a supply order, which goes to a demo only. Demonstrators get charged for them, they are not free. This may explain why some demonstrators do not order them at all (if their customer base is not large enough to support additional expenses).

I bought a complete set on ebay and have them in a three ring binder (in page protectors) alphabetically. When a new set comes out, I just look on ebay.

Thanks for the info! I was not aware that the demo's had to buy them. My demo here locally does not have a huge customer base so that is probably why she doesn't get them often. I do (serveral times a year) travel to a larger city about 2 hours from here to a demo whom holds all day stamp camps with about 50-60 in attendence. Maybe I should see about getting some from her since I usually do order something when I go to something of hers. (She's a long way away but I love to go because she comes up with some phenominal ideas, I think she actually won some big award at the convention this year for some of her items) Thank you for letting me know this.
