Default How do I keep my Chalk from smearing?

I am just starting at stamping and am wondering how can I keep my Chalk from smearing? Is there any thing that I can purchase from SU or would I need to get something from Michaels? Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Aqua net hair spray. A demo told me to give it a shot with cheap hair spray. Aerosol works best.

Yep, I agree on the hairspray. I use Suave (in the can, not the pump)

Is that what y'all use for the metallic inks too? I'm having a terrible time with them smudging....

For metallic inks (polished stone tech) I use Krylon Workable Fixatif Spray. I bought it at WalMart in the craft area.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I really do like this site. Have already learned so much. I have gotten so addicted to stamping that I have decided to become a SU Demo, just got my confirmation of my demo number. I am excited. Maybe after some time I can help the newbies like every one has helped me. Thanks again.

I use the Krylon stuff too. Works great for chalk but I always emboss the Encore metallic inks. I didn't know Krylon with work on those. Learned something new!
