I am SOOOOOOO getting rough edges alphabet - it's even on my wish list! I think I might get Tag Time too. I already have Love Ya Bunches and Mini Mates. I love it when they run these deals!!

Are these sets being discontinued or something? Is that why they offered them...or do they always choose random ones to offer for half price.
I did some searching around and these are not the most popular sets (just from what I can tell) so i was wondering if they are on the way out and this sort of a last chance to get them sort of thing.

I didn't go back and check for sure, but I believe that many of the sets that were 1/2 price last December were in the catalog this year, so these are probably not on the chopping block yet.;) They may be trying to generate more interest in these sets, but you just never know what their reasoning is.
I am getting Merry (I have a dd named "Joy" so I am a sucker for any set with "joy" in it) and rough edges alpha. They have both been on my wish list!!
I think I will pass... I was only planning on spending the minimum at stampers club this month ($25), so I don't really want to spend $45 just to have the opportunity to buy those sets at half price. If it was just a straight half price sale I would probably get all of them.
By the way, the prices on the Candian flyer are wrong. The correct prices are:

I'm passing on these also. None of them are on my wish list and there are so many other sets I'd rather have....even at full price. Also waiting for SAB.
if i remember correctly...most of the sets that were in last years promo were retired from the following catalog. except sincere salutations. i had to have stipple celebrations and then it retired!! so i think most of them will be gone next time around. i think i might pass and wait for SAB although i'm not overly fond of all of those sets. love the scrappin kit though!
Actually, I don't think any of the December specials ended up retired at the end of the year. Stipple Celebrations was a special at one time, but not last December.
Rumor has it, from someone in the know, that these offers are always their worst sellers. I never like them. Maybe that is the reason. The only 1/2 price set I liked was one not in the catty at the time--Sincere Saluatations.
Remember when Lovely as a Tree was 50% off? I don't think anyone would consider that one of the "worst sellers". You just never know how SU makes its choices.

It's someone who buys stamps they didn't normally like at first,only to see it in Split Coast Stampers gallery in a different perspective.
I am getting the alphabet - I have been looking at it since the catalog came out. What better time then when it is 50% off! Besides, I had an order ready to go, so it just worked out for me.
I like 5 of them, already have one, but i'll probably keep my money for sab. but who knows, I'll probably end up placing an order the last day of the promotion, like I did with the holiday mini.
