I had a graduate last year.
Just so you know, we got, anything from engraved invitations from special print shops (and those people even said to me, they didn't really like them, won't do that again), to flyers that the kids just did up themselves on the computer and handed out at school.some just said, come on over...
I don't know what your community is like, but I just want to take the pressure off a bit, if you are stewing like I was.
Alot of people had a photo involved (mostly just photocopied onto the invite). Either it was the senior photo or a fun shot that captured their child's personality
Use your school colors, party theme (I used the bright fiesta colors as my daughter "lived" at our local mexican restaurant and we had their food for our party), or a sport/music/theatre theme...etc..
Lastly, keep it simple and do not worry too much about fussing. Everyone gets bombarded with them, and you do not want to feel you spent endless hours over something that will be sitting in a stack of howevermany.....
