And I am frekaing having problems with my unmounted stamps!
I don't use them all 100% of the time. Even less lately because of how busy I have been. I went to take one of my TAC stamps out of the case and I peeled the stamp off and the clingy part came off onto the case! The foam is still on the stamp, but a layer stuck to the case and stayed. *thunks head on desk*

So now what do I do?
Wow. I have never heard of this ever happening.
Try peeling off the Foam that stuck to the case and see if you can stick it back onto the rubber stamp. If that doesn't work I would contact The Angel Company and let them know what happened!
I have stamps that I haven't used in a long time and I haven't had any problem with them doing this.
I've had some sitting in CD cases for over 4 years...they haven't split apart! The top might have gotten stuck to the lid if you used Versamark and didn't clean it off? These weren't the ones you left in the hot sun in the car, were they! Just teasing.
I think Crystal Laquer might restick them too, if just squeezing them together doesn't work. Or, I have extra cling handy - let me know what size square you need!
Ok but....the clingy part is not coming off of the case...period. It looks like it has just kinda....I dunno, but its a thin layer of film almost and the cushion has no more cling. It's so sad...
I think I understand what you're saying. When you take your stamp out of the case, there is a "haze" left behind on the case. It's not the cushion peeling apart? If this is what is happening to you, I've had it with some of my sets, but they still do cling to my block.
But I will add to what Karen said, I'm now doing "bare" rubber. I use Aleene's TIOAO and am so glad I have! I heard Karen say this some time ago and just got around to trying it!!! Love it!!! Thanks Karen ;)

Thank you! yes! This is EXACTLY what I meant! I just couldnt get the words out right!!! EXCEPT....mine won't cling to the blocks at all.
Hmmmm...Jessica, if they are TAC sets, I would definately call HO and let them know! Mine have still "clung" thus far, but I will keep an eye on mine, and I'm going to re-check my sets.
Have you tried to maybe rinse them under water to see what happens?

Tried it....failed miserably....I'll try and call them tommorrow to see what to do.
And no Chris, these are just ones that have been in the house. Granted, I haven't used them in months and months and months....
This is interesting. I know I read something like this and someone had a remedy to regain the sticky, but I think I lost some brain cells to anesthesia when I had my eye surgeries because I can't remember the solution. Maybe the answer will come in my sleep and I'll post in the morning.

Jessica,
You can pop them in the microwave and then peel the cushion off of the rubber. You can order cling cushion from many different stores by the sheet and remount your set. I agree with Mel, though. Call TAC if it's their stamps. They are an awesome company and I'm sure they would replace the cushion for you. Maybe the stamps too.
I don't know why that happened. Hmmmm.
Hugs,
Gina K.

Ok, Now I understand. Some of mine have done that too.
but I haven't notice that they don't cling anymore.
if they don't cling try cleaning them with a little soapy water and let air dry.
Something esle I just thought of. Is the cling foam might have been old to begin with. Thus making the haze on your CD case.
You might want to ask the Home Office about this.??
I remember reading about someone having problems with the Ez-mount foam doing this to their CD cases. and the company that she purchased the foam sent her new foam.
I completely forgot to call this morning *smacks forehead* I will try tommorrow and if they are not open, I'll keep trying.
I just thought it was a weird thing to be happening. I have tons of cling sheets that I could remount them on...the thing is...I shouldn't -have- to. I went unmounted to save myself problems, now I'm stressing about it and thinking about re-mounting my SU sets :S
