Help! Need SU colors for Army Dress Greens - UPDATED 3-27
I am trying to make a welcome home card for my nephew using the suit template Leigh Obrien was kind enough to share will all of us. What SU cardstock colors match the jacket and shirt????? TIA.
3-27 Update is in Red
Thank you everyone for helping me with the colors!! Pending approval, Here is the completed card I'm sending out. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I have used Old Olive, Creamy Caramel, and
Really Rust, Close to Cocoa, and Chocolate Chip. These are what I found matched the Marines cammies. Army can't be that off.
Hope that helps.

OK, I just took my ink pads to DH's dress greens and compared. You aren't going to get a perfect match BUT the closest is Garden green for the jacket/pants and Sage Shadow for the dress shirt.
Forest Foilage had too strong of a blue tint for the jacket/pants and Mellow Moss was too green for the dress shirt.
So, if you use SU inks I'd use Garden green and sage shadow.
Good luck!

I just did the same thing lol - took my markers out and scribbled on US white and held tehm up to my hubby's uniform. You are right - Garden green and sage shadow! And canvas background for the dress shirt - would be perfect !
