After about a two-year hiatus, I decided to jump back into stamping and spend my Christmas money updating my collection. But I can't find anything I like! No more Craft's Meow? No more There She Goes? No new Poochie stamps from The Cat's Pajamas? Sadness...
I'm looking for images that are fun to paper piece or color, but all I can find are either (a) silhouettes (b) graphic elements or (c) sentiments.
Paper Smooches and Lawn Fawn are almost what I'm looking for, but for some reason I haven't found a set that I must have from either of them.
Another suggestion ... Sweetnsassy stamps. I'm sure you'll continue to get suggestions. I'd love if you shared what you decided to buy (and what you did with it!)
One of my all-time favorite companies is Waltzingmouse Stamps. Claire has a unique style and lots of options.
Also, even though most of my release this time is something of a silhouette style, there is still room for coloring. And past releases are very much coloring or paper piecing friendly. They're at Inky Antics (mine are under Featured Artists > Nancy Baier).
And there are lots of cute designs great for coloring from other illustrators at Inky Antics.
Anna Wight has come out with some background stamps that are on my wish list: Search results for: '4.7"'
Nancy, those Anna Wight backgrounds are wonderful and I especially love the doggie background (being a dog person myself).........thx for sharing about them
And I was blown away - you have your own stamp line - your designs are just WONDERFUL!! That must be so exciting - I cannot even imagine!!

Hey guys! How great it is to see some familiar faces!!
Nancy, your stamps are beautiful! I think the next round of stamp buying will be some of your lovely landscapes.
I think the winner for today is Whipper Snapper...too many cute images to choose from! But I did find quite a lot to put on my wishlist from the other suggestions, too. Please let me know if you have any more recommendations! I knew my Splitcoasters would help me out of this jam.
I also like Taylored Expressions. There are lots out there to pick from. Simon Says Stamp (I think that's the name) carries a lot of different brands of stamps and I have been pleasantly surprised with the variety. I feel confident you will be able to spend that Christmas money in no time!
Oh my gosh - that was great to see! I did see some photos they had on their FB page, but not the videos.
Of course, I had to watch the entire thing . Ellen and Julie are wonderful, and I was very excited to see all of the great products they are choosing for Ellen's store. I actually brought up my wish list document and added a few things as I watched. Thanks so much for sharing it!

Me, too!!

Try Stampin' Up they have everything you need. Markers and ink to match the paper and dies (framelits) to match the stamps. I am sure there is a demo near you and you don't need to go to demo parties anymore. You can order right on line. Just find a demo first. I can't help because I am in Canada. But any demo anywhere in the US. France Martin has some great Tuts on you tube.
Try Gina K Designs over at StampTV. All her products are great especially the paper and the videos are so good. She explains things so even a few years ago when I started doing cards I could understand. I had my Cuttlebug for several weeks before I saw her use it in a video. Now I can't live without it.

I love SU for various styles...but more paper piecing-friendly stamps from My Favorite Things. Our Daily Bread Designs has lots of great images for water coloring. I only have one Gina K set (so far) but I love it!
Be sure to tell us how you spend your money! ;-)
