Default Help with embossing plus folder

I just got an embossing plus folder that you can use in a cuttlebug. It's called Blooming Bouquet - very pretty. I am drawing a complete blank on what kind of card to make with it. Are there any ideas or someone who has used it out there? Thank you.

I have that and just made some cards with it recently! I made a generic card which I put two different sized flower punches layered in the square window opening (they were punched out of patterned paper) and a button in the middle. Really easy card, no coloring! I also tied green ribbon around the window opening to create a stem for my flower. Hope this helps!! Sorry I don't have a picture of it uploaded, hopefully my explanation is enough!!

The embossing folders make great backgrounds for all types of cards. They give such a professional look to cards. Love it! I am sure you could use it for backgrounds on birthday cards, thinking of you cards etc. Don't forget you can even take the embossed piece of Cardstock and use it in the big shot again and cut any shape you want out of it - just plain shapes such as ovals, circles - these are great for layering. Also - leaves, pumpkins, hearts - get the picture. They these shapes make great embellishments! Have fun and experiment with it!

Here's a card by Sue Nelson aka Susie B here on SCS which uses the Brocade folder/die combo.

Sue has also done several other cards using a couple of the other CB Emboss Plus combos which might give you some ideas and inspiration.

And here's one I did a while back which uses another emboss plus die combo. Although it isn't the Brocade window, it is along the same lines as what Sue has done.

Hope this helps!

Default Pretty

These are great! Mine called Blooming Bouquet doesn't have a window like that. It's more a medallion type embossed center. Maybe someone will have it.
