HEY EVERYONE, I AM MAKING MY BABY SHOWER INVITES, AND I AM THINKING ON DOING A POST CARD TO SAVE ON COST...I HAVE A VERY LARGE FAMILY AS DOES MY HUSBAND. DOES ANYONE HAVE A GOOD EXAMPLE, I AM AT A LOSS ON THIS ONE. I WILL PROLLY HAVE TO DO A FULL CARD, BUT WOULD LOVE JUST A POSTCARD. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP
JMO.......ALOT of times postcard type of invites end up in the garbage (unless you are putting it in an envelope) because it gets stuck in "junk" mail and is not seen.

I had the same concern, but you can still do a postcard type card (no folding) and mail in an envelope and still save a lot of cardstock.
I have a whole bunch of baby cards in my gallery (I had a baby about 6 months ago as well as several friends & family members). Most were made as thank yous but you could easily swap out that sentiment for a "you're invited" one. Also I made some shower invitations for my cousin and had to do about 40. I found the easiest way to do them was print the pertinent info using Microsoft word and then stamped the outside & the envelopes (print the blank cardstock first, then fold & stamp). I think they came out great and had a lot of compliments on them.
okay what about printing out your info onto white cardstock, cutting the top two corners to make a "tag". Stamp whatever you choose. Mount onto 1/4 sheet and cut the corners to match the white. Punch a hole in the top center and use ribbon.
