Default Heat and Stick powder?

I'm placing an order today with some Christmas and birthday money and I'm wondering exactly how you use this stuff? I know the catalog says that it allowed you to get the dazzling diamonds glitter right where you want it, but I don't know how that works....

Thanks,
Susan

I use it with my versamark pad. Just stamp the image you want in the color you want and then use the versamark pad and stamp that on top of the original image. Pour your heat & stick powder on, tap off the excess, heat (and I heat it from underneath). You'll see it melt. Then pour your glitter on and heat one more time (on the bottom). You can usually see the glitter kinda twinkle at you.

Works great! I think that's about the only thing I've used it for so far.

when doing the double layer effect, I never double stamp. I ink up my stamp in versamark, then I stamp that right into the color I want it to be, the versamark never seems to cause a problem with my ink pads. Then I stamp the image on the paper. I have both the color and the stickyness of versamark in the same place without having to use the stamp-a-ma-jig. Hope this makes sense? I love using this method with my classic pads, so that I can emboss them, or use heat and stick. I don't use heat and stick very often, and do like it for what I need it for. I tend to use a fine point 2 way glue pen more when I want to put on glitter.

I use my versa marker and colour in where I want glitter, like on a snowman, then pour heat and stick on, heat, pour on glitter, then heat again to get it to stick. It works great and I really get the glitter just where I want it.
