Default Happy Valentines Day!! Did your DH do something stamp/scrap related?

Happy Valentines day!!! Just wanted to find out if any of your DH's did anything stamping or scrapping related for your special day?

Mine surprised me on Saturday with additional shelving for my stamp room, went in, helped me move the stuff and installed them to make more room.

I love my man!!!

My hubby and I decided we wouldn't exchange gifts this year since we just came back from holidays however he decided to surprise me anyway and brought me beautiful pink roses. Then he apolgized for not getting me a card to go with them. I looked at him and said I never got you one either. Guess we could have made one - too funny - all the supplies and it just never dawned on us! Yep - we are getting old!! LOL!

Yes, my DH made me a card. Last night he asked me for my valentine stamps, several ink pads and a blank card. I cut a few pieces of cardstock for him and left him alone. He made a beautiful card using about 8 different stamps and adding handwritten sentiments along with the stamping. I always make his cards [he got 2 for valentine's day] but it's been years since he made me one. I always get such a kick out of his cards since he has stamped images on the front, both sides inside and even on the back. The funny part is he used 3 stamps that I've never used yet - and they looked great!

My DH is my prince. I woke up to find my favorite chocolates on my desk. I was so surprised. I am not a traditional Valentine's girl. My favorite chocolates aren't traditional either.

Then he took me to Michael's and bought me new watercolor paints, watercoloring mediums, Ranger's dry nibs and a new journaling pen. He also gave me a flush cutter for jewelry making.

I bought him large oil paint canvases and a new wrench. ! If you think that is unique one year I bought him zombie things for Valentine's Day, lol.

It was a wonderful day. We have been together for almost twenty years.

it was a great holiday. He didn't stamp me anything, but after our tea and lunch he took me to the paint store to buy me paint for my new stamp room that we will be doing soon...I was very excited. Just seeing the paint makes it real. I currently have a great spot in the basement, but the light and temperature situation during the year make it not ideal sometimes.summers are a misery down there...So our spare bedroom will be my space.. I can't wait.
