Smile Happy Leap Day!

Happy Leap Day everyone!

I don't know why, but I'm so excited about today being leap day. There's something really cool about finding an extra day every 4 years.

Personally, I think it should be a holiday and we should all be able to do whatever we want. In other words, there should be no "fixed" celebrations like Thanksgiving Dinner or Easter Brunch or anything like that. It should just be a holiday to let you do whatever your heart desires without any obligations to anyone!

I wanted to make a leap day card, but realistically I knew I would have no use for it, so I made a happy 29th card and disguised it as a birthday card! I was pretty proud of myself -- LOL! I just uploaded it to my gallery. If you've made or would like to make a "Happy 29th" or a "happy Leap year" card too, please post the link here so we can all take a look!

Happy Leap Day to you, too! I love leap day, mostly because it pushes the first day of spring to my birthday in March and in cold northern Montana, spring is a wonderful time of year!

In fact, I don't do much for St. Patrick's day, since I have absolutely no Irish blood in me, so leap day makes up for it!

I made three leap day cards, because I figured I wouldn't be able to for another four years! Here they are, all with the frogs from Unfroggetable:

February 29 Card by Yapha at Splitcoaststampers
Happy Leap Day Card 2 by Yapha at Splitcoaststampers
Happy Leap Day Card 1 by Yapha at Splitcoaststampers

Hope everyone had a happy Leap Day!

I'm happy its leap day too. Because my husband's work bases the insurance deductions on a 24 payments a year or 2 per calendar month, this paycheck had none taken out since its the 5th Friday of the month. Whoo Hoo! I was wondeing why there was an extra few hundred bucks in the bank. Nice!
