Love the technique but, was wondering if any other product has worked instead of using the Pure coconut soap? Where can you purchase the pure coconut soap?

I don't think it has to be coconut - but it does need to be vegetable as opposed to petroleum based. Hopefully someone who really knows this will answer. . .

I think the soap is melt and pour coconut base. You could probably find that at your craft store in the soap making section. You can use health food store soap too.

I used a bar of Ivory soap.

I am not sure if this technique is the same that I was tought...But I use plain ivory soap in a bar form and it worked nicely for me. I have never seen coconut soap, so i can't speak on that...but I loved how mine came out.

Ivory soap works just fine.

I used some homemade goat's milk soap. I think as long as the ingredients are pure it should work. My stencils came off the sticky tape just fine.
