Default Gift card envelope Thinlit from SU

Are you getting this? I do love it but I think it is a little spendy...what do you think? I have one gift card holder die...well, 2 if you count the Pocket Envelope die. Talk me into it Or out of it!!!

I know how you feel! I've been looking at their star dies and stamps trying to decide if they're worth the price. Then I found the star dies and stamps at Paper Smooches for less than half the total price and way less shipping. I love SU products and have never ordered from Paper Smooches. What to do, what to do!?

I think it horrendously expensive. SU has a lot of lovely things, but some of them are more reasonable in relation to other brands. Tombow glue, for example, is decent value from SU (at least here in the UK), but their single dies for nearly 30 each are way overpriced.

I know it's cheaper for this die in the US, but still for what you get it's a lot of money!

OP: The gift card die is not on my radar since I can make gift card envelopes galore with either my envelope score board or the diagonal score plate.

However, that cute little curvy keepsake box die is definitely coming to my house. It is much larger than it looks from the catalog picture.

Sue: Do you realize that the Stampin' Up! star framelits and stamp set from the holiday catalog are on special this month? Talk with your demo.

lindylou you took the words right outta my mouth!! I spoke with my demo last night about this and asked her opinion. We both agreed that the envelope punch board is just what I need!! I went in and changed my "wish list" and feel much better this morning. All of that scoring and punching can be very therapudic and we all know I could use the therapy ;)

I rec'd my order on Friday (YAY for living so close to SU!!) and I have to wonder how I lived as long as I did without this little envelope punch board!! I LOVE THIS!! If you are on the fence about getting it, go for it! I don't think you will regret it. SO EASY to make envelopes!! As I was punching and scoring and turning, I kept thinking "Oh, I must be doing this wrong...this isn't going to work..." and it was done and I folded it and it was just that easy! (hearing Gallagher doing Sledge-O-Matic: YES, it's just THAT EASY" HAHA!) It's a wonder I got anything done this weekend at all, what with all of the punching and turning and stamping and playing
