I'm not feeling very well this morning and it shows in the card I just uploaded. I was excited about my new Target Dollar Spot finds (some cute Halloween stamps) and wanted to post a sample right away. However, I wasn't that hot about it when I scanned it and now that I see it in my gallery, I like it even less. So, look if you like to check out the actual stamp but I will play with this card some more later, when I feel better, and post a revision. This is not a plea to get a lot of comments that say "no, no, your card's not ugly." It is what it is and it will hopefully be better later. Happy Stamping!

Your thread title is so funny, I just had to click on it!
I checked your card out. I had actually seen it a little while ago in the gallery and I actually was thinking that it is a really cute card! I am not crazy about any of the SU Halloween stamps but I might end up at Target to see if they have any like the one you found!
P.S. I am wondering if I should put this type of disclaimer thread here, too, to warn of some of the stuff I have uploaded! When I upload them and get a closer look they arent always as good as I 1st thought KWIM? We are always our own worst critic!
Well, I really like Booglie Eyes but I have a hard time justifying Halloween stamps because I just don't sent out Halloween cards. I was happy to find a cheap stamp. I do have some A Muse Halloween images and some by Memory Box but I try to avoid creepy things and just stick with cute.
For those posting comments....I got the idea to tear the cardstock and have the mummy peek out from the inside cover of the new Paper Crafts magazine. They use a full mummy. I like the idea of using the twill to match the mummy idea but want to do something different with it than what's there. You can't see it well but I used Prismacolors to color the mummy. There's more color to him than you can see. Then I splattered him with Close to Cocoa using a very wet aquapainter and my Cocoa marker. Where's my demo when I need her? Sleepy....where are you? Help me with this card!!!
I think if you don't typically make Hallowe'en cards it may be hard to wrap your head around them and really appreciate your finished product. Frex, I picked up some of the new cheapie Hallowe'en stamps from Michaels and made some cards wtih them this weekend. These are the first cards I've made for Hallowe'en ever and I really can't tell if they are cute or atrocious, or rather would be really good if my young nieces and nephews made them but embarassing for an adult to have made.
I saw your card and thought it was very cute and well-designed!
Okay, this thread title cracked me up! My first thought when I saw it? "Oh, man, now we have to APOLOGIZE for posting crappy stuff!? I'm in serious trouble!"
I had to see the "ugly" card. You just must not be feeling well because I love your card! I think the tearing is perfect for the mummy--kind of a peek-a-boo. Your thread title is too funny!
Cute card! Honestly, I upload some things that are (simply put) ulgy! I think nearly everyone who is uploading most of what they do in the gallery has some that they always wonder how they got there. lol! For me it is ALL of my VSN cards. I guess I'm not good under pressure. ;) Hope you feel better soon!
