I am so excited that this SUPPORT MISSION is taking off...Darth, hopefully we can meet for lunch when you and Enrique show up to take the cards to the "secret agents" that are far from home!!! LOL

If you are on and it is still the wee hours of the morning give the gallery time to upload the photos!
How exciting! I just talked with dh last night about this project. We are going to stamp cards for our ABF (small group) at church and have a fellowship next weekend so they can all write messages to troops!!! I'm so excited!!! Now I just have to get all the cards prepared - I don't know how many they'll want to do!
I'm going to work on some to send to you tomorrow. Your hair looks so dang cute. It's like they invented it just for you! Anyway, thanks for posting the pics. You are such a cute pregnant lady. hugs and stamps!

Thanks Kim, and the funny part is that last year this time I had hair that was mid back all one length...talk about a change! One day my hubby came home to a wife with hair that was THIRTEEN inches shorter than when he had left for work that day! LOL Thanks again!

One of my husband's friends came over while I was cutting my DH's hair. He asked if I'd buzz his head. When he came over, he had shoulder length hair. when he left, he had 1/8" hair! His mom was a bit surprised... But he is a lot cooler! :-)

Very cute haircut! My dh would have a heart attack if I came home with my hair that short! lol He about choked to death when he saw I had cut my hair to just above my shoulders. Men! I will work on some cards this weekend to send to you. Must get some cards made. Been working too much on my scrapbooks.

Thank you for spearheading this project! We are a retired military family and are happy to see our troops supported so well. I will have my envelope in the mail tomorrow. I had an unexpected visit from my grandchildren yesterday, otherwise they would already be on the way. One of my grandaughters helped with the cards earlier this week. Look for an envelope from Georgia.
hi Keri- I just cut my hair too - 10 inches  (get your minds out of the gutter!) LOL! I donated the hair to Locks of Love that make wigs for children with cancer! If you ever get the chance you should check their website: www.locksoflove.com (it might be locksforlove?), it's very touching. Sorry for rambling.
That is exacly what I did...that is one reason I went so short all of a sudden...I thought well, here goes. I have never colored or treated my hair and they say that is the best for making childrens wigs so I choped and shipped!!!
And just so you all know, I received more cards today!!! Thank you bootsie!! I will be sending the first bunch soon now that I have almost a dozen of each kind!!!!! What an awesome thing!
I would like to say thanks too. This is a great idea. I know the troops will appreciate it. I work at American Airlines headquarters and asked my stamping friends if they would be interested in joining in on the fun. We are set up for lunch tomorrow to make a set of cards and write a note of encouragement for the troops. I will let you know tomorrow how it went and hopefully the cards will be in your hands by Friday....hot deal on fedx thru the company. One friend already gave me 10 sets of 3 cards with a note to a soldier in each ziplock, I have made 6 sets......and the word has been spreading like wildfire. I am excited to see what happens.
Nina, now I know I really should start baking some cookies for my Postal woman...I think she is supporting the troops just with all the delivering to my door she will have to do. She always brings me my packages that are too large to the door and if she is doing that she figures that she might as well bring me my mail too!! She is too sweet! So I will have to keep coolies for the postal woman and the FedEx guy and the UPS man!!!! I am going to be a CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP baking fan!! My hubby will loveeeeeeee this!
Probably an odd question, but are most people doing all the same card and sending it or just one of each or what? I've been practicing up for my first workshop (and making a few for the newbies to view) but have two or three of several kinds.
Thanks to Nina and her American Airlines Friends...they have stamped over 250 cards and are sending them this week!!!!!! To see what she and 86 others did to support our troops go look at the "Stamp Your Heart Out" gallery!! Thanks again!!
